Ventum L4 Jacket

Lightweight and packs down well. That's what I was looking for.

Ventum L4

I purchased this on a recommendation from a friend. It is light weight and has completely kept the wind and light rain off of me. I have worn it on the range and around town and have been 100% pleased with its performance. Looking forward to trying more from Beyond!!!

This earned its way into my go bag, expected a lot less

Bought this a few years ago. Live in Minnesota and this is with me all year round. 3 seasons as a medium/light weight weather jacket and a slight outer jacket in winter (in a pinch). Agree with others, vented pockets would help on hot rainy days but that might let the cold in on cooler days. Have an extreme light weight rain jacket for summers. Again, this is with me all year round.

Ventum Ultralight L4 Review

The only recommendation I would have is incorporate pitzips or have the pockets be made of mesh for high volume venting.

Ventum Ultralight

Light, so light it's barely noticeable. I strap this jacket to a Patagonia Atom sling. I've never owned ultralight kit like this and it's an absolute tool for light rain and slightly cold mornings. Because it's so versatile you find yourself adding it to your daily kit and forgetting about it. Jacket deals with light rain well and along with the Ventum pants make a great lightweight alternative if the weather goes a little wonky. Keep layers going as the jacket retains little warmth.
