The setting of camping by the river is beautiful, not much privacy between campers, but no major issues, please read all the reviews, there is COLD showers only and men's showers are locked and no shower heads. Toilet block is clean and stocked with supplies.
Information on the campground needs to be expanded, people don't know what they don't know, educate rather than intimidate, there are many rules not written, only fires in pre-approved fire pit area, don't use any firewood on the property, we used from the river area where we could cross over the river. Owner is building cabins and is super protective of the materials (understandable) but accused all campers of stealing one plank of timber.

Said there was showers but they were bolted shut
The owner was very aggressive saying we took her Beautiful timber for the fire when we didn't we took our own..there building a new cabin there and there's no bunting around it making very unsafe for the kids..the owner is the most aggressive person we've met

Great spot - basic facilities

Great spot beside the Cox River. Nice property to walk around. A little traffic noise if you camp near the bridge however it stops in time for sleep.
Basic facilities, no showers or potable water.
We’ll be back at some stage.

This was a beautiful spot, however there are no showers available. I messaged the host regarding this and it took them over 24 hours to respond. We probably would have booked elsewhere if we had known as we were there for four nights and had been free camping the two weeks prior. It was also quite expensive for two adults and two kids - without showers. Toilets were in fine condition and stocked with toilet paper and soap.
The river is beautiful, and it was nice and quiet at night even when it got busy. Cows were friendly.
The first two nights we had the place to ourselves, the second two it got busy and we were approached by multiple parties asking how to check in as the listing says ‘meet with host on arrival’ - and we said we just pulled up.
Would stay again IF the listing is amended.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the camp (some vehicle noise, mostly drowned out by the flowing river).
Rosemary greeted us and made sure we were settled in. Clean, well kept grassed area made for comfortable camping.
Being a quick 2.5hr drive from home, we will be back.

Solo stay at the perfect spot

I had the best time camping here, I was on a solo hiking trip to the mountains from Sydney, I felt safe the entire time during my stay and was left alone.
The land is just unbelievably beautiful and the farm animals free roaming really made my stay, they are very cute and friendly.
There was already fire pits setup, all you had to do on arrival was choose a spot and set up camp. The showers were closed but luckily I came prepared and wasn’t bothered by that, bathroom was clean and had toilet paper. I will definitely stay here again solo or with family and friends. Thanks again Rosemary for sharing your little treasure with us ✨

The spot was lovely and the river was great for taking a dip, even for young kids, because the current wasn't very strong. The facilities were clean and well kept. The only thing is that we went at Easter so it was really busy, but we managed to make it work and have a bit of privacy.

Lovely scenery and nice stay, however the showers were unavailable and had I known or had any warning I wouldn’t have booked the site (I only booked 2 days out). All down for real camping but this was a real inconvenience, due to a medical issue which required me to shower. Feel that the lack of amenity should have been reflected in the price.
Was met with a sorry but bit of a blunt reply when I asked about it and was told to bring a dish. We’d driven 10 hours from QLD so this wasn’t really an option. Forked out more money to shower at Katoomba aquatic centre each day.
For a 3 night stay $180 was deer considering the lack of amenities, they should take this off the listing as it’s falsely advertising the site

Beautiful property and super peaceful! Even on the busier nights, people seem to be respectful of each other’s space. The toilets are clean with soap and paper towel. Secluded yet still close to town and plenty of walking trails!
Rosemary is absolutely lovely too! Will definitely come back here next time I’m up this way :)

I loved camping along side the river. As we only had a short stay over night travelling home from our holiday we arrived at night and where blown away with views and scenery, we will be coming back in future👌🏾

The site was crowded there was no privacy. There was no showers available as it listed it did. We couldn’t even use generator during day as it was cloudy weekend so solar power was insufficient. Without our consent host stormed at our site and cut the straps of my Bluetooth speaker mistaking us for other campers. Won’t be going there again.

Our group loved camping at Glenroy. We were close to the river and had our own firepit. Toilet blocks were just a short walk away and were neat and clean. Too cold to swim but in summer would be a perfect spot to cool off in the river.
