What is the detection distance? Manufacturer Answer

The maximum detection distance will depend on several environmental factors (ambient temp, humidity, etc.). It will also be dependent on how hot and how large the heat source you are looking for is. We found that with a man size target, in our testing environment, the maximum detection range is about 50 yards.

This thermal monocular is advertised by AGM as having a 50Hz refresh rate. The Optics Planet's description says 25Hz. Is this a variant? Manufacturer Answer
