Great probe
Thank God I haven’t had to use it yet. I ski inbounds at resorts in Tahoe. There have been avalanches inbounds the past few years. I bought this to use in case of emergency for my friends and family. I wear a backpack to ski and this is light and breaks down easily. I am impressed with its ease of operation and well marked depth measurements. This and a shovel will always be in my pack. It feels solid and the lock engages easily and is easy to unlock and fold.

Solid
A solid product that I don't have to worry about breaking when I need it most, would love to see the numbers continue onto the final section but not a big deal. Been using this for a while and will continue to.

Great, simple to use.
This is easy to use and has nice quick release and locking to make it easy to deploy and also to break down for storage after use.

Locking mechanism is great and probe is sturdy, but recollapsing it is a little anoying
Probe is great for its purpose extends and locks quickly limiting time spent on thinking about equipment. Gave 4 stars because when recollapsing it, the slack chord running through it has to be evenly distributed which is annoying

Great piece if gear. A must have. Easy to deploy, strong to push through hard layers, and clear, bold markings for determining strike depth and snow depth.

Solid Probe
Nice and light, easy to extend and lock in. I like the handle on the top of the cord that helps you grip and rip this thing out fast.

Flawless workhorse
Super fast deployment. Great positive locking that clicks loudly. Solid and good markings. This is a work probe so not a lightweight but sturdy, reliable, fast and easy to use.
