Best Hiking Shoe
I absolutely love this hiking shoe. Ive had mine for three years. I’m so sad they seem to be getting rid of them. Please bring them back! I’m going to need a new pair.

love them but i hate the laces
super comfortable and they fit my narrow feet prefect. however the laces are the worst! they are WAY to long so even after double knotting them they drag on the groung

LOVE IT
Had this boot for the past three years and sadly need to replace it now after tearing a hole and losing tread. But I will buy in a heartbeat if/when they restock! My first hiking boot ever and they were comfortable from the start ~ no breaking them in. I hope they bring back the blue! Or something else cool, but that blue was great. I also hike A LOT, like a lot a lot. So for these to have held up for that long and on all the crazy trails I did in them is incredible. They were there for me more than most people have been, definitely shed a few tears when I realized it was time to get a new pair.

This is not a serious hiking shoe, or for "chunky trails." The soles are thin and too flexible (more flimsy than even my running shoes). I can feel every rock and get arch fatigue after just a few miles even without much weight in my pack. If the trail is even slightly dusty or damp they lose traction. The ankle has too much flexibility for good support. These are like hiking in a bedroom slippery (but not in a good way). Works not recommend.

Good shoe, with some design flaws
I went through an extensive try on session to find the perfect fit for waterproof hiking boots to take on a couple 4 day backpacking trips in Iceland. Overall, I wore these through almost 90 miles and they held up ~mostly okay. I will say the color and material choice was not good on these, as they remained a caked muddy brown for most of the trip after tackling a few rainy / snowy / muddy days on the trail. Waterproofing was also ~okay. Many stream crossings and downpours occurred and I recognize my feet would be substantially wetter in other boot alternatives, but they also didn't stay dry in the continuous sog. Ankle support and grip were generally good for the trails needed. Though I will also comment that the laces are incredibly long on these -- cut or wrap if you desire.

Twenty months & shoe FAILED
This was a replacement shoe for a Solomon hiking boot that lost the waterproofing after a few months. Now this boot has done the same thing after 20 months, and not heavy use! I love to hike and have tried other boots, definitely do not recommend Solomon! they would not replace these as the warrantee started when the first pair was puurched.

Not waterproof
I went on a snowy hike and my shoes got really wet inside and out.

Great boot
I've owned these hiking boots for almost two years now. They are still going strong. I love them! They have never caused any trouble. I hike through dry, rocky, mud, snow, and creek beds...some steep slick leafy slopes, these shoes never let me down. They did get submerged in the water once. I cleaned them at home immediately according to the instructions Salomon posts online. They still look and feel awesome! I have waterproofing spray to use on them as needed. I did replace the insoles with ones that provides more cushion and arch support.

Already broken
I bought these about 6weeks ago and already one of the loops that the laces thread through has snapped. Other than that they are a very lightweight shoe and seem to be fairly waterproof.
