Great soap, but many get confused and leave a bad review about this. It is BY LAW required to use biodegradable soap away from the pure source of water. One comment in particular left a 2 star review, without knowing what they were talking about. Would you drink that same water that you washed your hands, equipment, cloth in or would you rather drink spri g water? Thats why 200 feet...

Good for everything but hair!

Campsuds were great for handwashing, bathing, and washing objects. However, when I tried to wash my hair in it, it left a sticky residue that lasted for more than a week. Obviously Campsuds are not going to be as effective as regular shampoo but I would be careful in using it with long hair.

Works better than expected

Amazing stuff! Used on my dishes at the campground, face (did not dry my skin) & to wash my hands at trailhead bathrooms that had no soap. Love that it’s small enough to pop in my pocket, pack pocket or car cupholder. I used in areas that had a sink & not near any freshwater sources. I did not notice & strong scent, but still kept in the bear locker to be safe. 1 -2 drops does the job. The small bottle will last a while.

Works great on clothes, body, hair, etc

This worked great when I was traveling in South America. Just a few drops can clean your clothes, your nalgene, your body or your hair. One bottle lasted my fiance and I for about 2 months.

Great! Can't wrong with campsuds.

Used this for absolutely everything on the trail. I washed my clothes, dishes, utensils, hair, body, everything with this soap. No complaints. Please dig a hole to properly dispose of this soap. Do not just let it go into a stream or river. It's supposed to biodegrade in the ground. Leave no trace.

Useful and Environmentally Friendly

Great for cleaning dishes, bottles, and hands at camp. Not recommended for showering or bathing. Also, used as laundry detergent in hotels while driving across the nation.

Best backpacking (everyday) soap

I have been using Campsuds while backpacking and camping for many years. It works great under all the situations I have used it, washing clothes, dishes, hair, and body. I have tried other products. They just don't match up. I keep coming back to Campsuds. I have recently started using it as my everyday soap. It works well on all kinds of dirt and grease, and it's good for the environment. It's all good!

Works for everything

Most of the time any product that says it does it all actually does nothing. This is an exception to the rule. I’ve used it to clean dishes, wash clothes, and bathe. It hasn’t ever disappointed

Great product for many uses

I have the peppermint version of Campsuds. I use it every camping trip for dishes, clothes and all around cleaning. Smells great and works on all sorts of dirty and stains. It even got blood off a scout shirt.

Perfect for camping and beyond!

Purchased Campsuds to bring on a camping trip and was very satisfied with this product. Very little soap is needed to make it lather, and I love that it is biodegradable. If you want more lather, all you need to do is add more water, not necessarily more product. I will definitely purchase these again.
