Versatility is the name of the game with the Hestra Ergo Active Gloves, and we keep them at the ready knowing they'll adapt to just about any cold-weather endeavor. They're made with a durable goat leather palm and a toasty wool interior, and feature GORE-TEX Infinium technology in the outer material to completely block out chilly winds. This same technology remains breathable for higher intensity activities, which is why we use them for everything from hiking and snowshoeing to the occasional ski tour, or simply keeping us warm through the winter season.

Excellent warm weather and touring glove

I love this glove. It's thin (just a leather "shell" and thin loops of wool inside), dexterous, comfortable, breathes/wicks well, yet is surprisingly warm for it's weight. I wear it for resort skiing down to the low 30s. Maybe high 20s. It's pretty snug fitting (helping the dexterity), so if it gets too cold I find my fingers have a harder time maintaining circulation to stay warm than in my looser fitting Hestra heli gloves or fall line mitts. It also works great for touring. I've comfortably worn it on the uphill in 40+ degree weather. It just breathes well enough that I don't feel the need to rip it off on the uphill. I can wear one pair of gloves all day on the up and down. The dexterity is really the highlight for me. There isn't much I can't do with theses gloves. When the leather is slightly damp (either from snow or a quick lick) it'll even operate my phone screen. So I rarely take them off once I put them on. And while not critical, I think they look quite nice too. Another winner from Hestra, and maybe my favorite Hestra glove yet.
