The Salomon Launch Lace Boa SJ Snowboard Boots are a light, nimble feeling freestyle boot employing Salomon's exclusive STR8JKT support system for the liner and a combination of Boa® closure plus traditional laces for the outer. This clever arrangement keeps the heel fit super snug but lessens the chance of a catastrophic cable break from the edges of your (or someone else's) board. These boots are a favorite of Salomon's team riders, and for good reason.

Boa® STR8JKT – This inner heel harness works like a 3 point seat belt for your heels and is activated by the Boa® fit system.

Comfort Liner – Does what it says — wraps your foot in a soft welcoming hold that delivers instant and long lasting comfort. Featuring an easy-glide patch and Ultralon multi-density foams.
Custom Fit – Heat moldable multi-density foams strategically placed in the sensitive areas of the foot, shin, ankle, and heel.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
