Tech Specs
Bike or stroll.
Tow the Burley Honey Bee Child Trailer behind your bicycle, or use the included stroller kit to turn it into a comfortable stroller for both of your munchkins. The full internal roll cage exceeds ASTM F1975-09 safety standards, and the five-point harness system keeps them securely strapped into their plush polyester seats. The simple and durable non-zip cover protects your passengers from rain, and the splash guards keep dirt and water from getting tossed onto the bottom of the Honey Bee, so the kids' seats don't get soggy. Burley also added tinted side windows to let your children see where you're taking them without getting too much sun.
To make your roll as pleasant for you as it is for the kids, Burley equipped the Honey Bee with a height-adjustable handlebar, a hub-engaged parking brake for extra safety, and 20-inch push-button wheels that provide a smooth ride. The tow arm and hitch are easy to attach to your bicycle, and the user's manual will let you know everything you need to know for a quick and simple setup. When you're all done for the day, pull the the latching system to fold it up for compact storage in the closet so you're not tripped over your stroller as you bring in groceries or chase the little ones around the house.

Love it!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Overall this thing is great. The seating position for the little one is good, the harness holds them in securely. Overall fit and finish and build quality appear to be very good. Meaning, you get what you pay for. The rolling resistance is unbelievably low. Towing behind a bike is a breeze. We also use it as a jogging stroller. I use a 29er to tow it and there are no issues with tire clearance. Burley customer service is also excellent, I wasn't happy with one of the wheels being out of true. Burley promptly sent me a new wheel with no issues. Prospective buyers, you will be very pleased with the Burley Honey Bee 2.

Easy set up
So easy to put together. So thankful compared to the set up of the Schwinn bike trailer that wasn’t compatible with my hybrid Salsa bike. I didn’t need any additional adapters for my bike. I just bought one hitch adapter for my husband to have the option to use the trailer if he’d like. Excited to take it for a spin.

Good morning - The Honey
Good morning - The Honey Bee that we bought is used as a stroller for a day care that my wife runs out of our house. The front tire for stroller use does not sit straight when it is engaged down it is on an angle and the trailer tries to pull to the right. I have looked at it and dont see any adjustment to get it to sit staight up and down

Great trailer our kids love it!
Our two girls love riding around in our HoneyBee trailer. There is plenty of room for them as well as lots of cargo space for storage. This trailer is super easy to use and folds up pretty compactly, the only thing that would make it better is if you could fold it up without having to take the wheels off but that’s just about the only thing that I don’t absolutely love about this trailer which is the same to almost everything else on the market I believe.

Great buy
Pulls behind our bikes like a dream. Our 6 month old baby is comfy enough to fall asleep, even on semi-rough paths, without the padded seat insert. Getting her to sit comfortably with a helmet on is a bit tough, but generally we’ve made it work. Love that we can bike places, unhook it and use it as a stroller. Wish this one could also be converted to a jogging stroller, but honestly I’ll probably try to jog with it as is.

Quality build, quality ride, quality time
Quality build for a quality ride. Straps are adjustable and simple and it has great storage space. Just waiting for our 3 month to get a little bigger so she can ride with her 2 year old brother!

The seat is really uncomfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The seat is really uncomfortable for my one year old and he ends up sliding to the bottom and slouching. Hopefully it gets better as he gets older. Otherwise it’s well built.

Awesome Bike trailer
We love this bike trailer and stroller. It is so versatile and easy to use. We love everything from the 5 point harness to the large storage area behind both seats. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is that when you raise the front wheel for cycling, it does not lock in place well and often falls down. This results in the front wheel sometimes hitting the road over bumps and is annoying. We’ve used a zip tie when going on long rides to prevent this, but this is definitely a small design flaw and nuisance.
