quality of arcteryx log is poorly made.

I'm quite happy with the warmth and fit of this jacket; however, the logo is printed onto the material rather than stitched like many other Arc'teryx products. After just one wash (carefully following the care instructions), about two-thirds of the "ARC'TERYX" logo on the hood peeled off (see attached photo), which was really disappointing. Now I'm afraid to wash it again, worried that the chest logo might peel as well. Given that prices have been steadily rising, I hope Arc'teryx also focuses on improving the quality of their products. It's undeniable that consumers pay a premium for the brand name — and when the logo peels off, it feels like half the value is lost.

I like the product, but not very durable

I got this jacket less than 2 years ago and mostly used it for hikes in chill weather. It's pretty comfortable and breathable which makes it a great alternative to the atom on warmer days. This winter i took it out for touring one day and once i got home i realised my backpack straps had all damaged the front of the jacket at waist level. I planned to used it for climbing this spring (as it is advertised) but i doubt it would fair well against a harness and rock. A bit of a mixed opinion on this one :(

Light, Tough, and Trail-Ready — Go-To Midlayer!

I’ve been waiting on this specific one to be my new go-to active midlayer jacket, and it didn’t disappoint. The materials and quality are on point, and it’s held up well on my recent hikes around the Squamish area. The hood feels a bit smaller than the one on my Atom (same size, Large), but the fit still works great. Also, I’m loving the Dynasty color — bold, clean, and looks even better in person.

Another really nice piece by Arcteryx

I already have the atom jacket and wanted something a little lighter weight, a little more breathable and a little more 3 season specific while maintaining a great fit and good mobility. This jacket ticks the boxes and is exactly what I was after. Really nice piece with thoughtful construction and the ability to be used in 4 seasons. Perfect for travel and activity. A nice light insulation layer helps with warmth while not being too bulky.

Great jacket, breathable with light insulation.

Breathable and lightweight jacket with octa loft insulation. Perfect for high output activities in colder weather. Very good breathability. I use this for trailrunning and hiking in the spring and autumn. The 2025 edition has embroidered logos. I would rate the sizing as normal, it´s slightly larger my 2022 Proton FL hoody. I first bought an XXL, but I had to size down to XL.

Great, but sizing changed

One of my favorite pieces ever. I have one that is 2-3 years old and quite smelly after 100s of days of guiding. Got the new one and still seems to function and feel the same, but the sizing is disappointing. My old one is a large and fits perfectly, but this new 2025 version the large is too large and the medium is more snug.

Just what I was looking for. Great looks, extremely comfortable, warm. Could breathe better. Works well as mid layer or outer layer in temperate conditions.

Great breath to warmth ratio.

Magical. This jacket is awesome, I love it. Breathable but still warm if you wear a hardshell over it.
