Clipping into your pedals lets you push and pull on your pedals which increases your pedaling power and efficiency. This translates to being able to climb faster and pedal quicker. Not all shoes are made equally, though, with some shoes being lighter and stiffer than others. The Giro Imperial Road Shoes are made with a one-piece synchwire upper design that features dual Boa IP1 dial and soft lace guides. The thermal-welded Teijin TPU adds structural support exactly where it is needed. High-modulus Easton EC90 SLX2 carbon fiber plate provides ultimate stiffness-to-weight for power transfer.
