Easy and Fun
Well constructed, easy to assemble and inflate(4-5 minutes). kayak is rigid enough to support 2 adults without flexing. Tracks well for an inflatable kayak and light enough for one person to carry.. We store it on the back seat of the truck, no worries about theft. I'm in the inflatable boat business and will tell you, that you are getting a lot of value for your money.
This is a great kayak!! Thank you!
This kayak is perfect for inland lakes and streams. It's durable nylon shell is extremely puncture resistant, it's easy to inflate and deflate, it fits nicely into the trunk of your car, so there's no need for a rooftop carrier, it's easy to store, it's great for solo or tandem use, and it's reasonably priced - a lot less than a hard shell tandem. I'd recommend this kayak to anyone! Thank you, Advances Elements!
Excellent easy cargo and storage kayak for two
We got this kayak now for nearly 5 years and we are taking it everywhere with frequent usage. It is very easy to assembly, takes almost no storage space and is not heavy to carry. We place it on top of our roof car shell cargo box. It fits nicely and we still can add other items. We pump it with airhead manual foot pump (cheap, light and reliable with no battery needed). Takes approx. 8 min of easy pumping. One star down in two areas: 1.) the kilt - works perfectly but not in shallow water. In such conditions hard shell canoes without extra-long kilts are sliding better. 2) patching - yes, we got wholes, but not ripping it on the water. The tinny leaks appear probably during the storage. They show around the same area - at the seams on the front and end tips. For patching we use Gear Aid Aquaseal+ FD glue. Works perfectly. We noticed if kayak leaks, the whole is so tiny that when we go on the water, we can still use the kayak without any issues for several hours. We learned to take the pump with us and pump it right on the water. This way we can continue paddling for hours and hours and patch the kayak once back on land. I would buy it again mainly due to its storage size and cargo capabilities.
