Bought for a 300 Blackout pistol. Was originally going to purchase a Eotech but since they were out of stock everywhere I decided on this one. After installing I’m an very satisfied with it. IMO it looks much better and is one of the best “both eyes open” optic available. I have a couple ACOGs on other rifles which I love but they are more suited for extended distance shooting and not as good for both eyes open CQB. I had a 512 Eotech before that I returned during their huge recall several years ago and was happy with it but is always seemed to wide on an AR and not as ergonomic as the Aimpoint.

Built like a tank. Everything you'd expect from Aimpoint. If only they still made the M3. ...but this is the next best thing.

Aimpoint Pro is an excellent optic; great service and shipping! This is the second optic I've bought from Europtic. Price is great, shipping is fast. No complaints. Product is flawless. Put a few rounds through, hitting steel straight out of the box. Couldn't be happier! Excellent quality. Mounted it on a 16" PSA AR15. Perfect with some MagPul BUIS. Excellent fit! Definitely worth the extra expense over a cheap Chinese red dot. 2 MOA red dot is perfect size.

What’s to say about the optic, it’s an aimpoint. I have the T2 and aside from a lower battery life (still 30,000 hrs.) I wish I had gotten this one first. Less than half the price and as always eurooptic had the lowest price I’ve ever found . Great purchase all around!!

Recommended to me by a couple SOG friends as the best civilian optic for the money that you can get. I would have to agree. I had one on an M4 once before. Should have never sold it. Very rugged, love the battery life and brightness settings. Easy installation..I would also recommend this optic. Might cost you a little more than some but well worth it

This is a big step up from my previous red dot. It's a great choice for my 10.5" 223 pistol. I may even pick up another for my 16" and move my LVPO to another rifle.

Nice dot. Little on the heavy side, and the mount does no favors for that. Multitude of brightness settings, and easy adjustments.

I bough this optic for my PDW Gun. I love this optic. I’ve seen people complain about this optic glass quality and lack of brightness. This wasn't the case at all, the glass quality is good and the optic gets plenty bright and works well with my gen 3 night vision. The 2 MOA reticle is sharp and holds zero. I really don’t have any complaints other than the size of the tightening knob on the quick connect base of the optic. It’s a little bigger than I’d like. All things considered I’d highly recommend this optic.

It works fine and is adjustable as advertised. I've decided that for my AR15, I'd prefer to have a scope so I can actually see that I hit where I was aiming. This is no fault of the red dot as I knew it had no magnification, but I thought I'd be able to see better at 100-150 yards. Perhaps if I had a spotting scope I'd have a different opinion. Bottom line, it does what it says it does, it just doesn't work for me.

I used an Aimpoint Comp M4 red dot sight on an AR-15 during patrol rifle school a few days before purchasing this optic. I decided to put this Aimpoint PRO on my personal AR-15. When I received it, I installed the batteries and looked through it. It did not have a clear defined red dot. It had an oblong dot that can best be described as looking like a random collection of shards of glass. I contacted Aimpoint directly about the problem and they said it was a perception error, that I was focusing on the dot, and said it would go away on the range. Although I knew the problem wasn't a focusing problem, I still tried it out. It appeared slightly better when aiming at distance, but it was still a large, oblong shape, and not a solid dot like I had seen a week before on the Comp M4. I let them know again, and they replied with another snooty email implying how great their product is and how I am in error. Aimpoint's snooty attitude was the icing on the cake. I will not buy another one of their products again and let them know it.
Perhaps it's just the qualitative difference between a Comp M4 and a PRO. But if that's the case, that's a huge dropoff and the Aimpoint PRO is a crap optic. I've seen better red dots looking through cheap paintball gun optics.
Based on this experience, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you buy something higher quality than the Aimpoint PRO. I
I am going to give the Sig Sauer Romeo 5 a try. I've read great reviews for it, and I could buy 3 of those for what I paid for this optic.
Now, as for my experience with EuroOptic, I have no complaints. They had the best price, they shipped it to me quickly, and their communication along the way was excellent.
In short, 5 stars for EuroOptic, 1 star for Aimpoint.
