Product Description

Stay warm and sleep well while you're roaming the world with the Escapade 700 sleeping bag. Filled with 600 loft duck down encased in a Pertex® Quantum shell for lightweight weather resistance and breathability, the Escapade 700 is a great option for sleeping in mild temperatures.

It has a semi rectangular shape which offers excellent comfort and durability, and it easily tucks away into your luggage with the included compression stuff sack.

The Escapade 700 also features side and foot zippers, allowing the sleeping bag to be opened up completely for indoor 'duvet' functionality. It can be zipped to another bag, and it's made in extra large and women's-specific sizes, too.

This product contains RDS down certified by CU 1210688. The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) (independently) certifies down and feathers against animal welfare requirements and tracks it from farm to final product.

All Macpac down is independently certified to the RDS.

Care

To maintain loft store in a large mesh bag when not in use
Consider the environment and wash by hand only when necessary in cool water using pure, non-detergent soap or Nikwax® Down Wash Direct®
Do not machine wash
Handle with care when wet – do not twist or wring your bag
Rinse your bag several times then gently press out excess water
Dry your bag on a cool setting in a commercial tumble dryer (with tennis balls) or lay on a flat surface to air dry (in shade) over several warm days
While drying, periodically shake bag to gently break up clumps of down
Avoid overexposure to direct sunlight
Do not bleach, iron or dryclean

Warm but tad unbreathable

Super warm. Slightly heavier than I would've liked and doesn't pack down particularly small. Doesn't breathe well so although it's warm feels a bit 'sweaty' as soon as you're in it. Using my silk liner has helped negate this.

Standard escapade

Great sleeping bag. It’s light weight but heaps of warmth. If you wanted to use for a camper van as a duvet it’s plain grey on the inside.

Very warm, I have slept in below freezing outside with this sleeping and did not feel cold. The duvet functionality means it can be used in summer as well.

This is an excellent sleeping bag. It is a semi rectangular type, making it suitable for a larger rounded person. It is easy to get in to and pull the cord at the top to surround the head. Warm too, down to -3C. Paul M

BEST BAG EVER.

Fantastic bag that has so many versatile features. It's HUGE and you can actually roll around and not feel trapped, as I do in a mummy shaped bag. Super happy with the weight and warmth, and love the long zipper that makes it into a quilt option, as well as being able to open the foot box end. We have actually purchased two, and can fit them together to make one big bag.

Superb all round bag

I have used this bag over 12 months in Scotland. Very flexible design as permits duvet use in summer all the way through to fully cocooned in winter. Dealt with a collapsed bivvy in a storm very well. Perfect indoors too. Packs down and lofts very well it is very difficult to warrant the purchase of another bag for here as there is so much flexibility. Great piece of kit
