We do not open pre-orders for a shipment until we have a good amount of confidence in the ship date.  That being said, the estimated delivery dates listed on our website are based on the best information that we have at the moment.  While we cannot control every variable, we pledge to be honest and transparent about lead times.

- The ship dates that are on the website represent our honest estimate of the date that the bikes will ship on.

- Where information is imprecise (for example, referencing a month or quarter), it is because there are unpredictable factors that make it so we cannot credibly be more precise.

- We will work tirelessly to keep the bikes on schedule. It's part of our company culture to be very involved in our supply chain and to be proactive about addressing issues that could turn into delays.

- If something happens that changes the ship date we will communicate quickly and clearly about the delay.

- You can cancel your pre-order any time before your bike ships.


Pre-date changes

Your pre-order date will be included in your order confirmation. If we learn something that changes that date, we will contact you. You might see the pre-order date change on the website. There are a variety of things that could cause a change in the pre-order date including shipping delays, back logs, or moving through different batches. Just because the date on the website changes, does not mean that the date of a pre-order already placed has changed.  Again, if you place a pre-order and the estimated delivery date changes, we will inform you.

    Zulu One

    I purchased the Zulu One for my 2.5 yr old who is showing balance and the desire to lift his feet on the current balance bike and just coast. I am truly blow away by the quality of this bike and its customization. The bike was packaged with quality, thought, and care—clearly with the customer in mind. The bike itself is a beast. This thing could be thrown off a cliff and be just fine. I have no doubt my little dude will have this for years to come in multiple phases of his childhood. Amazing product with OUTSTANDING quality.

    Enabler!

    Had the bike for 2 1/2 weeks now, and we have unlocked new levels. Learning to use the brakes combined with learning to kick speed and start pedaling to get going independently and put the feet to the ground while braking to stop without falling over has made it possible for me as a dad to grab my own bike and ride along rather than running behind to save her from falling over. Now we can cover new ground and go for longer rides, and she just wants to go riding at every opportunity. I have added a kidreel for towing uphill, which definitely is recommended accessories. Great bike, well done! Will surely stop by for tacos if we ever make it across the pond:)

    Customer for life

    I cannot recommend Prevelo enough. As an avid cyclist (mostly mountain) I very much appreciate that Prevelo recognizes that coaster brakes are a big hinderance to establishing good habits and an enjoyable experience. Having the option to get a rear disc brake with a freehub was a major consideration for purchasing my son(s) a bike. The quality of the Zulu one is exactly what I was looking for in a kids bike. The thought was put in for all of the components– both size and quality. I'm confident that this bike will be able to handle my first son and be able to be handed down to my second son. The geometry was also well thought out. Especially with mountain biking, giving kids a confidence inspiring ride is extremely important. On top of all of that Jacob really took care of me and made sure I was able to get my son a bike in time for his 3rd birthday. In just a few emails, it became abundantly clearly that Jacob takes great pride in what he does. That is the type of person and company that I want to support. I encourage you to do the same.

    The BEST!!!

    Ok, so my husband and I did months of research before buying our 3 y.o daughter a bike. We are mtn bikers ourselves and really want her to learn right from the start! The addition wheel and back disc brake is great! The hand brakes are UNREAL!! She can reach them, and she can pull them with literally two fingers!!! It’s mind blowing how good this bike is. We could not be any happier with our purchase and are having so much fun teaching her the basics. Thanks prevelo for producing such an incredible quality bike for this age. Our daughter is pretty small for her age and this bike is going to last us 2 years for sure!
