Be sure to lube the co2 ends and magazine. Mind the correct zig zag pattern for the bbs in the mag and it won't jam. Have had good luck running Umarex steel bbs.

Pros
This amazing bb gun does as advertised. If you don't want to deal with the hassle and expense of a real MP-40, this one is for you. It soothes the craving for full auto ballistic therapy !

Cons
The folding stock should be angled down when deployed. It would be more comfortable for the shooter.

Definitely get an extra clip. I will be ordering one for sure.

Pros
This is very authentic in size and weight. A blast to shoot! Its really cheap fun to shoot all day for a couple bucks.

Cons
I would like to get a leather strap for it to complete the look.

I do recommend for its quality and accuracy. Would love to have a real MP40 after owning this. Seems to be very reliable after a couple thousand shots still shoots accurately and functions flawlessly.

Pros
Shoots faster than advertised. High quality build and authentic look. Is very accurate especially for its short barrel. Almost 100% metal. Shoot so fast you'll wonder if any BB's are even coming out.

Cons
The CO2 activation perforation screw has to be turned in way past flush. Failure to do so will only activate one CO2 canister instead of two. Magazines are so expensive. Needs an adapter for a charge air canister. Very heavy not really a con just be aware of it.

FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

Pros
Beautiful replica of the M40. I love the weight, look, and all around feel. Shooting it is an absolute blast! Again the feel while shooting it is amazing with the blowback function. Must cock it before it'll fire the first shot just like a real gun. I can't say enough good on this gun! You may think it's a lot to pay for a BB gun (I did) but really it's not, you're spending a fraction of what a real any gun would cost you and most people cannot fire a real gun in their backyard whenever they feel like it. Not to mention the cost of BB & CO2 is a lot less than the cost of ammo these days!

Cons
Nothing!

I HAD A JAM IN THE FIRST 25 OR SO BB'S. A BB WAS LODGED RIGHT AT THE BREACH OF THE BARREL. I REINSERTED THE MAGIZINE THINKING THAT SUBSEQUENT SHOTS WOULD DISLODGE THE JAM. THIS DID NOT WORK AND NOW THE MAGIZINE IS STUCK AND WILL NOT RELEASE. THE METAL AT THIS LOCATION IS VERY SOFT AND IN TRYING TO REMOVE THE MAGIZINE I DAMAGED THE METAL ON BOTH SIDES. THE MAGIZINE WILL NOT RELEASE. I'M CERTAIN THIS IS AN ISOLATED OCCURANCE AND I JUST HAPPENED TO GET AN APPLE. I WILL LICK MY WOUNDS AND PURCHASE ANOTHER MP40 SOON.

Pros
I LIKE THE MP40. VERY REALISTIC.BEAUTIFUL GUN

Cons
I WOULD TRY TO IMPROVE THE MIAGIZINE DISCHARGE MECHANISM.

Get one they are cheap fun!

Pros
Great replica full auto you can shoot for little to nothing for hours. Great sound and feel. For those with loading issues take an old CO2 cartridge and cut the end off and drill out the tip to the size of a BB to make a loading funnel. Works great! Also add 2 dimes between the CO2 cartridges when loading for a snug fit

Cons
Needs larger CO2 capacity

Pros

Pros
People with magazines/co2 problem: Put your CO2 in the magazine, then when you go to puncture, hold the magazine up to your ear so you can hear the sound of the CO2 puncture it's very quiet, then very gently unscrew until you hear air leaking, once you have confirmed that the co2s are punctured by hearing the CO2 leak gently tighten until the leak stops and you'll be good to go

What is the thread size for this muzzle

asked Sean from USA

No.

Adam from USA

Had trouble with 3 MP40 mags, sent them in for repairs to UMAREX customer service in Jan.1,2o22, i call back every month, they claim out of stock!---BUT, i can get new mags all day long at Airgun Depot--Why is this?

asked Don from USA

Make it easy to load the bbs---use a nail to hold back the follower spring & lock it in place--then dribble in the bbs.

asked Don from USA

can the white lettering on side be scraped off or is it etched in

asked JASON from USA

Do Crosman co2 cartridges work with this model? I have heard they might be problematic with this gun. Any thoughts?

asked Jeremiah from USA

Saw an empty Crosman CO2 cartridge in half, and you will know why not to use Crosman. Full of thick sticky grease Use Daisy, much better, Also Crosman BB's are a no go as well

Raymond from USA

What can be done to keep magazines from jamming

asked allen from USA

Daisy's work well in my MP40 & Beretta.

Don from USA

A touch of dry graphite works wonders mine went from jam-o-matic to flawless full auto mag dumps

Raymond from USA

Umarex or daisy bb s work fine, Umarex has a list of the do not use brands. Be sure the bbs stager In the magazine exact with no uneven spaces, a drop of gun oil at the top and bottom of the bb channel in the mag coating the bb s slightly, this can compromise shot grouping but guarantee dumping a full 52 shot mag in less than 3 seconds.

Matt from USA

Use Umarex BB's . Crosmans tend to jam in the MP40 mags.

Mark from USA

What brand of bb's/pellets go best with this?

asked Jorge from USA

The Umarex BB's work well.

Mark from USA

How can I add a laser sight to this? What accessories are necessary?

asked Benjamin from USA

Laser sight on a Classic WW2 subgun? Heretic!

Raymond from USA

No. There are no attachment points.

Mark from USA

Has anyone used plated, copper or zinc bbs with no jams or feed problems?

asked Rick from USA

The black diamond BB's work the best because the zinc BB's are bad for the clip.

Charlie from USA

Crosman BB's are a problem. Most others are fine . Plated or not.

Mark from USA

Does the gun come with Co2 cartridges ?
