I would buy this again.
When i wear them i feel like a blue-footed booby, which is a magnificent sea bird. Same sky blue color. I've had some slight issue with the left footbed which was sliding around a bit and adding an annoying bump to my arch. Then i realized that the footbed was moveable and started playing with it, moving it a little forward and to the left. After several tries i got it placed to fit the shape if my foot properly. At first it wouldnt stay put. Now after a week, it feels pretty good. These are the lightest hiking boots i've ever owned.

Very plush
The color towards the toe is almost an off white or very light cream. The picture doesn't show the color correctly. Sending these back.

Worst Pair of boots ever purchased!
I work in ops an logistics and am on my feet 8 to 10 hrs a day and rack up over 10k in steps on my tracker. I'm not required to wear safety toe shoes in this new company so figured I would get a new pair of Hoka trail boots since I have been super happy with my Clifton 9's. I picked out the Trail code GTX in Slate/Oat Milk - and after the first week in them I noticed a slight burning on the outside of my right foot. I was thinking it was a break in period, but it would just get worse. After about a month in them, I had developed an aggravated tailor's bunion where the burning pain was. After a few weeks of podiatrist visits where the Dr placed the blame on the shoes and anti inflammatory med it is almost back to normal. Needless to say the Trail Codes are on the shelf since they are out side of the return policy.

Surprisingly great and cofortable shoe
I am very active individual often walking, running or hiking. I had foot surgery that didn't work out so well and I was afraid that I would not be able to do all the things I like to do until I found HOKA. These shoes were amazingly soft and yet durable. I plan to buy more of these shoes in the near future.

Strange wrinkles above toes. Manufacturing defect?
I have tried three different pairs of size 14 Trail Code GTX. All three had wrinkles on the top of the toe areas. None of the HOKA photos showed this wrinkle effect. Returned them all.

Would be 5 stars but...
These are the most comfortable shoes ever. They are as advertised, a light weight hiker. I rated four stars because they are only a month old so I really don't know how they will hold up for wear. This is my first pair of HOKA shoes and I will be buying others. So far I am very impressed

Won't Stay Laced
Love my Hoka walking shoes so I thought I'd give their hiking boots a try. They should stick to shoes. The left boot releases one of the laces nearly every time I wear them. I've tried sinching the laces beyond what I find comfortable but that is oddly tough to do and still doesn't hold the laces. Would not recommend these boots.
