The MBA-1 stock works only with a rifle buffer tube. The Ruger rifle looks to use mainly carbine style buffer tubes and the MBA-3 stock would fit and work on that tube.
i really like this product but find the fact I need to spend another $30 just to get a rail on the bottom (and the Luth mono-pod that goes on it almost cost as much as the stock itself).

Love this stock, it is very adjustable to fit nearly anybody. I’m very tall and find this stock to be a perfect fit. The cheek pad comes up fairly high and in the right location. The pad is a little stiff but nothing out of control.
