I'm 64 today and this is my first Ruger 10/22. This is the smoothest action .22 rifle I've ever owned. I've have a .22 rifle I've used for 48 years and in comparison this rifle has smoother action and is much easier to clean. Wish I would have gotten this a long time ago!
