Velotric Summit 1 E-Mountain Bike – A Great Ride!
I’m in my mid-50s and hadn’t ridden a bike in well over 20 years, so getting back into cycling was both exciting and a little intimidating. About three weeks ago, I purchased the Velotric Summit 1 e-mountain bike, and I finally took it out for my first real ride a few days ago.
I did around 14 miles on a mostly flat, paved trail. I spent about 75% of the ride in Eco mode at power assist level 5, and the rest in Trail mode, also at assist level 5. The motor support felt smooth and natural — not overwhelming, just the right amount of help when I needed it. I started the ride with 98% battery, and after 14 miles, I still had 77% remaining, which really impressed me.
The Summit 1 made it easy to ease back into biking after such a long break. It’s comfortable, intuitive to ride, and very confidence-inspiring for someone who hasn’t been on two wheels in decades. I’m looking forward to hitting some more trails this weekend and pushing it a little further.
If you’re returning to biking later in life or just want a well-built, powerful e-mountain bike that doesn’t feel intimidating, I highly recommend the Summit 1.

Really nice bike.....
I couldn't wait to receive the bike and when I did come.I was very surprised of how great the bike looked. Bike was very easy to put together it only took me a half hour. The quality of the bike is excellent. It is a very stable bike and very fast break. I didn't have the bike very long maybe 2 to 3 weeks and I already have over 100 miles on it. The bike is worth the money. I did install a drop post, which really made the bike enjoyable
