This purchase was done on a whim because I saw some British gents on Youtube ratting and my varmint hunting fire was rekindled like never before. Bought some Crossman Premier hollow points and am getting ready to bring the hurt to the farm yard. If I'd have known how cheap I could have been shooting I'd have bought one of these years ago! 500 pellets $6-8, 20 rounds of .243 at who knows these days. Will i be taking 300 yard shots? Absolutely not, but 50 yards at night on a rat might well be just as rewarding. I rarely leave reviews but this platform simply deserves to be raved on, good job Gamo.

Pros
As a seasoned varminter with center fire rifles I was pleasantly surprised by the feel and familiarity of this air rifle. The trigger safety is a little different than I'm used to but I like it. Accuracy right out of the box was impressive with 5 shot groups touching at 30 yards. Magazine system so far has worked flawlessly. The 2 stage trigger, while heavier than my groundhog rifle, is very crisp and consistent. Stock has a conventional feel, and was free of sharp edges or burrs. Cocking effort was much less than I remembered from the old break barrels in my teenage years, and operation is smooth. Noise levels are very modest, shooting doesn't upset my wife or alert my neighbors of whats going down next door. Chose this air rifle because it was on a great sale but don't think I'd have been any happier with any of the other numerous offerings from AGD.

Cons
The only two cons I can think of are trivial to say the least. 1- It would have been nice if a spare magazine had been included but that is (and will be) easily remedied. 2- A sling mount is a basic essential for any hunting platform. Also easily remedied.

co2 rifles are, meh, ok - break barrels, this is where it's convenient- no hassle, more power than c02, and less cost than the pcp rifles and having to fill tanks or buy expensive pumps. the 10 shot clip is nice - I can't imagine having to load one pellet at a time as some of the other break barrels on the market offer... and considering the ammo shortage for real guns this is a very nice inexpensive alternative.

Pros
among my first purchase from AGD, bought the swarm whisper .22 and a couple remington pistols, showed up prompt. took me a while to actually get out and shoot the rifle and I think its pretty normal that there is a 'break-in' period and cleaning and oiling the gun is a necessity, and seems to be getting smoother and more powerful the more I shoot. spent less than 20 minutes to zero in the scope and now it pretty much shoots where you point within 25 yards, and doesn't seem too picky about the pellets. this was my first break barrel and I am very happy so far after about 200 rounds. So much that I am ditching the co2 rifles I purchased from AGD or selling in garage sale. this thing has a very satisfying kick to it and packs a real whollup upon anything that tries to resist its impact. Makes my co2's just seem wimpy by comparison. I have been scouring the internet looking for the .22 magnum but can't find one anywhere. waiting for AGD to get in stock...

Cons
sling mounts would be nice but I found the gamo sling buddy that looks like it would work. the scope is actually decent but probably only under 50 yards. at 30 yards I have a hard time seeing where the pellet hit shooting paper targets so the magnification isn't spectacular but for this price I think its pretty good, I got it for $179 at AGD June 2020.

Bought this air gun to replace an older BenjaminI have. Love the Game but it would not be accurate after a few days. Zero the scope in and all is well. Use the gun a few days later and it is off. I admit it could be just me and not being still however it happened too often. So I replaced the scope and all is fine now. Would recommend this air rifle. Just replace scope and the gun is much better.

Pros
Quiet, 10 shot magazine,

Cons
Gamo scope was inaccurate. Would be spot on one day, then off the next.

I shoot alot.I am a decent shot, and have a fair understanding of ballistics. So when I say this is the worst scope I have ever seen, I mean it.you can crank the elevation from lock to lock and it only changes by about an inch on target, from 50 yards...damn thing must be broken, or its just that bad. No fault of Airgun Depot, you guy's are awesome. Best prices you can get

Pros
Decent power,kills rats dead.

Cons
The scope...no iron sight.

I started out with H&N 21.14 grain barracuda 200 count. They work awesome with this gun. The woman at air gun Depot, suggested the barracuda hunter extreme, Crow magnum hollow point, and finally Crossman premier hollow .14.3 grain 500 count in each container. I figured this is enough to start out with for now. I will definitely get as many as the barracuda 21.14 grain as I can! I love the weight, along with power and accuracy. Then again, it’s hard to say because I have not used any of the other pellets that I have purchased. I do love these ones though. By the way, airgun depot explained that certain pellets will jam up inside the magazine. So it is crucial for you listen to what they have to say about what pellets they are going to suggest. I know I could get my products somewhere else for less, but I trust this company. I will be doing a lot of business with these guys in the future. Thanks again, to the lady that helped me at air gun Depot!! Hard to find honesty these days

Pros
Had a 1322 hand pistol back in 1984. I was only 13 maybe 14 years old dropping squirrels and pheasant from quite a distance away. I can’t believe they still sell that gun. This Gammo whisper is literally unbelievable! The amount of power it puts out, times 10 is fantastic! Quality + power for $213 along with 2000 rounds. I called the airgun depot at about 5 o’clock, just as they were closing. She spent 45 min. With me. The woman that helped me make this purchase approximately three days ago, was unbelievably helpful. She told me what works best with this gun. Boy was she right!! Super fast shipping, 3 days for ground fed ex. The gun is a little heavier than I expected it to be. It is actually perfect, because it weighs in at about the same amount as a real rifle does. That break barrel piston, takes a good amount of pressure. Assuming why it’s so powerful. I have nothing but good things to say. Ask air gun depot for help, seriously guys! Super honest! & Knowledgeable buying a 1322

Cons
Instructions on how to zero in the scope would be nice. User manual for the scope, completely useless!!!! Never had to adjust a scope before, really though YouTube would’ve had a video for first time users. Finally found one. Teenager that was a little helpful. Unfortunately, couldn’t find a good video on adjusting the scope. I know it’s pretty simple, but would have liked to know which direction means what.

Pros
I like the Idea of ten shot repeat, the gun shot very precise, stable , the look heavy but it light and powerful

Cons
I just got the gun on 7/23/2020 test the gun over this Sat. weekend after work, and after two trial the the loading mechanisms failed, the two piece of rods/wire from each side of the device pop out of their holes every time you cock the gun and then the pellet drop out doesn't load correctly

We got this locally a few months back. This is the first higher powered air rifle we've owned and got it mostly for yard varmints in town. It is no louder than a ten pump with a 600fps-ish speed in .177. The higher velocity .22 will go through a 5/8 inch particle board with no problem at about a hundred feet. It's a bit hard for my wife to cock, but is fine for me. Seems accurate enough for small game at a hundred feet, but haven't used it farther out. The varmints must've been watching. Haven't seen any since I bought it.

Pros
Powerful. Quiet.

Cons
Scope is very high, you need a cheek pad.

I have had both this gun, and the Swarm Maxxim.... the Maxxim was the worst of them all! I returned it, and kept this one. In my experience the quality or Gamo is hit and miss..... it took three of these guns before I got one that was "right"......and that was the Whisper. The three star review is mainly due to the crappy guns I received, and having to return them. IF you happen to be lucky enough to get "a good one", you will be impressed. However, I'm assuming that only 1 out of every 3-4 guns will be a "good one" based on my experience, you will be thrilled. At this point, I am strongly considering just stepping up to the SIG ASP 20, and skipping any more "cheap" guns. I have made a couple of mods that have improved the gun..... 1. Fabricated an adjustable kydex cheek piece/comb riser...so I can actually get my cheek bone on the stock to shoot. 2. Filled the hollow stock with expanding foam...... surprisingly is quiets the gun even more than it already is.

Pros
In my experience Quality is hit and miss with Gamo guns, but when you get a "good one".....it is a GOOD ONE!

Cons
I went through 3 of these guns before finding one that actually works well and holds up. I really liked the idea of the having the 10 shot mags, which is why I persisted. The first two guns got returned because the loading mechanisms failed, plus, one's barrel locking system froze closed, and I was unable to cock/break the barrel......... and they both had TERRIBLE fit and finish, and HORRIBLE accuracy, even after "break in" of 500+ round. The third one was a total 180! The fit and finish were noticeably WAY better than the first two, and after break in, it holds less than 1/2" groups (that's 10 shot groups) at 20 yrds. NOTE: this gun has both allen and torx head screws.....WHY??? Just pick one! The screws are also of VERY low quality..... when removing the butt pad, I stripped the heads of the torx screws....forcing me to replace them.

Is it possible to load a pellet singly bypassing the magazine ?

asked Michael from USA

The features say: "2-stage adjustable Smooth Action Trigger (SAT)." I have owned this rifle for months and I don't see any trigger adjustment. Did they ship me the other model without the adjustable trigger, or is the above description incorrect? Can anyone else speak to this?

asked Cathy from USA

If you flip your air rifle over you will see there is a small hole in the trigger well if you look through the that hole there's a small screw take a small screwdriver, and I'm not sure which direction you turn it it will lighten the trigger pull. It will be the screw behind the trigger.

Stephen from USA

Can someone recommend on where the best place for two sling points would be?

asked Rudy from USA

can a 22 be fired from the 177?

one cock is enough for 10 shots?

asked Tao from USA

No .It is a magazine fed single shot system. A cock per shot.

how do recharge the gas

asked Rob from USA

The gas piston is a sealed unit. It is like the strut that holds up the hatch back on a car. It operates like the spring in an airgun. It should be good for 30,000 rounds at least.
