Great Ski But Doesn't Hold Up to Use
I bought my Salomon Stance 96s at the end of the season, used them a couple of weeks, and was dismayed at the deterioration of the top edge. The top edge flakes up and off from regular use. I'm over 70 and have been skiing most of my life. I'm not an overly aggressive skier at my age. Very disappointed.

Significant chipping of top sheet
Very early in my use of these skis the top sheet started to chip significantly. Unfortunately, once the chipping starts it does not stop. I have reached out to Solomon and hoping they do right by me and the other customers who have this same issue on the Stance 96 and Stance 88s. I have seen similar reviews to mine on the 96 and the 88s (women's Stance)

Great all mountain ski for riding varied surfaces
Bought these mostly as an on piste ski and they rock. Great on groomers, harder off piste snow, small bumps and light pow.

Ski of the Year!
In my opinion, it is the ski of the year. I am so happy with the construction and the shape. The use of metal is really well done. Way to go Salomon. Cheers Chris M., to you and your team.

Great ski!
I recently had the chance to get out on my new Stance 96's and they did not dissapoint. They feel very solid underfoot and have a lot of energy. The day offered a mix of windblown, chopped up powder and Vermont hardpack (ice) on the steeper faces. The Stance handled it all. Great edge hold and a lively feel.

Amazing One Quiver Ski
Any turn shape, any speed, any condition this ski rips. The tail sets it apart in it's ability to feather a turn or ride it like a rail.
