A perfect balance for magnification and a plain ole red dot. The reticle is focus-able. Dial it in just for you. The dot will out shine the first elevation plane of the reticle but turning down illumination, or turning it off will allow visibility of the top of the "T. " Both eyes open shooting is natural. When way-out-there precision is necessary just hunker down, close the non-aiming eye, and those bullseyes come into view crispy clear. This prism is living on top of my 308 keeping the weight waaaaay down. After 100+ rounds the scope is begging for more. Another great specimen from Vortex.
