Lightweight, comfortable, and built to roam, the Terra 55L Backpack makes carrying our gear into the backcountry for multi-day trips a fun and enjoyable endeavor. Its slight, bulk-free design allows plenty of room for necessities without hampering your mobility, and its patent-pending Dyno Lift System doesn't add any weight to the pack while offering self-equalizing, on-the-fly, adjustable load lifters for a comfortable carry when we've stuffed the pack full. Plus, an extra cushy back panel—the most comfortable one The North Face designs—makes all those long miles that much more manageable.

Quality backpack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't taken it on a trip yet but I like it so far. It seems good quality, but we will see in a few months!

Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for a two-week trip to Europe. Had plenty of space for all necessities. The top zipper pocket worked well for little things that could otherwise get lost.

Great for beginners!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect size and weight for this beginner. The hydro sleeve is a nice touch. Wish the hydro bag would've been included or at least sold on the website though. Recently had breast surgery and this pack didn't cause any additional pain/irritation. The pink color is on the darker side but still very feminine.

Fit sacrificed for weight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lovely and well-made pack but it cannot be adjusted for torso size (just for load lift). I'm torso 18-18.5, and S/XS was too small and M was too big. Previous Terra packs DID have torso adjustment, so this is a compromise--presumably to cut weight. Comfort/fit sacrificed for weight. Sorry to have to return it. Kudos to TNF for shipping and returns policy so I could try.

Great backpack with lots of utility straps and easy access
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great backpack! Happy with my purchase. I used this for a long distance hike and it was good. Lightweight, lots of additional strapping on the outside, felt robust and didn't show any signs of tearing. Loved the J-zip, easy access to the bottom of the backpack. Also looove the colour. Waist pockets could hold an iPhone 11 in one, and a little film camera or snacks in the other. I don't think they could fit a larger phone. The only design flaw I noticed (that affected me) is the support strap from the shoulder to the top of the backpack is only adjustable on one side, running across from right to left. If you want to tighten it, it puts a higher load on the right shoulder than the left making it uncomfortable. However it was generally fine when loose. Would be better if there were two separate support straps so it is adjustable on both sides.

New & In Love!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The light weight frame and design of padded straps and back support make this backpack a win for me. I recently had a breast reconstruction surgery and this pack is so comfortable. I'm new to hiking but this made me feel like a pro!

Perfect for women!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This backpack is perfect for women. The size and design allows you hiking all day long if it is required. I love the arms with easy pockets for small stuff.
