Probably the best rifle for the money. There's a reason it's used in competitions, very accurate with the adjustable sights and dead on with a good scope.

Pros
I love this rifle. It's my go to gun for target practice. I hit dimes at 50 feet every time. Easy to load and with 4 extra clips to fire, so much fun! Lots of shots from just one CO2 cylinder too.

Cons
The ability to attach a sling would be nice.

A fun gun .....just try it for afternoon....you will be very happy with the fun!

Pros
nice handling...very accurate.....right out of the box.....cant find a thing wrong with this gun...for money spent it is great!

Cons
The only part I think could change is the fast usage of co2...better seals ?

The Pros fair out weigh the cons, so I'm going for 5 stars

Pros
For the price, this is the best entry air rifle period. What's not to like? Cheap. Semiautomatic. Decent accuracy. Magazines are extremely cheap and functional as compared to others. Has never jammed on me. Will take most pellets except for the really long ones

Cons
The double action trigger is simply terrible. My rifle slowly leaked CO2 overnite. Suggest you bang through (4) 12 round mags. in one session and call it good for that CO2 tube.

Also you need to use pellet gun oil

Pros
Pros: realistic, cheap, fun And quiet

Cons
Cons: has a break in period.jams once and a while. When it jams the magazine gets stuck and needs to be pulled until the pellet spits in half so I don’t recommend alloy pellets

I also own a Crossman 760 Pumpmaster Classic which sends BB's or Pellets downrange at > 700 feet per second.
When I am out of CO2 cartridges, I get out my old Crossman 760 Classic to save the day and dispatch frogs in my swimming pool and mice.

Pros
It's a repeater and is lightweight and has a rifled barrel for accuracy.

stay away

Pros
light., all plastic

Cons
Never shoots straight. the all plastic revolver doesn't revolve half the time. tried to sight it in @ 10 yards and it was all over the map. I am not one of your "I bought a gun and it doesn't work quite right. I am a seasoned hunter and gun owner. Don't waste your money on this piece of C***. It's very rare the I do a negative review, but this piece of c*** deserves it

I like this air gun a lot, the ease of a semi-automatic is hard to resist and rare. This is a great gun, you will love it! I have attached targets (oops. only let me attach one pic) that were shot from 30 feet with open sights. The groups are with Crossman Premier pointed pellets. The largest rodents I dispatched measured nine inches nose to rear and it dropped them instantly with a pointed pellet behind the shoulder. Keep in mind, this gun is underpowered for humane kills. I have dispatched 16 of the pests and a couple of small ones remain that are timid that I am trying to get before they can breed. Also, I have had no leakage of CO2 cartridges and I have had them in for a full week or more with no loss of power. I place one drop of Crosman oil and wipe some on the sides of the top for the sealing o-ring. I do this to every 4th Cartridge. I believe placing it on each one is just too much and may gum up the works

Pros
I purchased this gun to clean up a pest infestation around my foundation. The Crosman 1077 is such a pleasure to use, simply load up some magazines, pop them in and fire away. No stopping to manually load a pellet, then pump it up 10 or 12 times for each shot. I have had the gun for about 45 days and have put 750 shots through it. I have not had one misfire, jam, or failure to fire. It has worked perfectly. Out of the box the rear sight was set on the lowest setting and @ 30 feet (about the limit of these 60-year-old eyes) and it shot low left. I brought the rear sight up two notches to get the correct elevation. I then loosened the two screws for windage (carefully) and slightly moved the sight to the right. She was dead on and fairly consistent using a front rest. Excellent results for an air gun at this price. There is a manual included in the box along with one magazine. I purchased three additional magazines, as they are dirt cheap.

Cons
This gun could be a game-changer with a couple of design changes. 1. Convert it to 88-gram CO2 cartridges. 2. Close up the gap between the magazine and breech for less leakage and more power. The gun really is borderline for taking small pests, shot placement is critical for a humane dispatch.

asked barry from Canada

From BrotherRain in Florida (I have several 1077's including an olive stock) and have owned for over 30 yrs now. You can find the owner's manual on Crosman's website here: https://support.crosman.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/201669754/C1077-OM2.pdf You can find an exploded parts view list here: https://support.crosman.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/201593380/1077_EVP___PL_4.pdf You will need to contact Crosman for info on how to get parts shipped to you or you ship to them and or a repair center ($$)... Good luck, if you are handy, you should be able to repair and or modify yourself. I've done extensive modifications and it's fairly easy to maintain and repair.

Is there a way to attach a picatinny rail to the top of the barrel?

asked William from USA

Yes, they do make a weaver/dovetail adapter to go mil-spec and or picatinny rail. I have one on mine to support a 3-9x 40mm scope with laser and flashlight. Uses a pressure switch on the pistol grip. I think mine was around $10-14. UTG makes one: UTG .22/Airgun to Picatinny/Weaver Low Pro Snap-in Adaptor , Black

James from USA

How to refill the air in to the Rifle?

asked Cristian Dale from Philippines

CO2 cartridges like the description says...

James from USA

Is it scope ready

asked Rex from USA

Yes, standard rail, not picatinny though you can get an adapter to fit mil spec

James from USA

Is it drilled for scope?

asked Rex from USA

It is not drilled. It comes with a dovetail rail integrated into top of receiver.

James from USA

Is it accurate to 100yards

asked Rex from USA

Not sure about exactly 100 yards but I zero mine at 25yrds. I hit what I'm aiming at and 100 yrds might be max range. I've owned these (several, including an olive stock) for more than a couple decades. I was impressed with the accuracy and while living in New England when to use it (co2 does not like cold weather like under 55F) and when to switch to a pump.

James from USA

the trigger will not pull when magazine is loaded. What could be the issue? Have checked to ensure is was locked properly and worked fine the first time we used it

asked Lori from USA

Ensure your pellets are firmly seated and not protruding, as this will stop the clip from rotating and hence the airgun from firing...

James from USA

The gun needs to be serviced. The magazine assembly may be bad. Contact Crosman for service. The 1077 has a 1 year warranty.

Mark from USA

how long can i keep the CO2 cartridge in the gun before it harms the gun?

asked Mike from USA

We suggest shooting all the CO2 out of the gun. Leaving the CO2 in the gun for more than a day or so will damage the seals.

Mark from USA

Does this require threaded co2 catridges?

asked Alex

No. Simple CO2 12 gram. URL: https://www.airgundepot.com/2311.html

James from USA

Can this kill a groundhog?

asked C. Carroll

This is not the right air rifle for anything so large. In perfect weather, a perfect shot at point-blank range might kill a groundhog, but it might not, too. The 1077 is semi-automatic, but the animal isn't likely to hang around for additional attempted perfect shots, if not totally incapacitated by the first. It's not even a coin toss; I suspect the odds of making a single shot kill on such a critter with this air rifle probably are much lower than the chances of failing. Even large squirrels and adult rats, much less full-grown rabbits, would be a problem: making use of the Airgun Depot FPE calculator shows that with 10.5 grain Crosman Premier Domed Magnum pellets, the 1077 just is not up to the job. Small birds, mice and smaller rodents like chipmunks, young squirrels and young rats probably could be killed with well-placed shots at close range (in warmer weather), but even that would be iffy at more than roughly 25-30 feet or so. In my opinion, this otherwise excellent air rifle is not suitable for killing anything but the smallest animals, and I don't use my own e1077w on any.

Yes, With a good shot.
