Sizing is off, too much of the orange accents

I bought these last year after turkey season, had previously had savanna pants that were discontinued. Since I liked my old savanna pants I bought these newer version in the same size. They are like two sizes to small. Contacted customer service they said I had to pay for return shipping. so by time I paid for return and exchange for new pair and then ship back to me I could have bought them for full price at bass pro , and got to try them on ,been done with the whole thing . Oh and whole idea of camo is to hide from game kinda defeats the purpose with a bunch of orange , white logos. Long term customer who is considering going elsewhere with his business.

Customer Service
Hi Ryry, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Your feedback is important to us! I apologize for the sizing issue you experienced. We do our best to keep our sizes consistent throughout our brand, although sometimes there are exceptions because of the seam allowances during production. I have heard the pants do run a bit smaller than the previous Savanna gear, however, if the pants seem two sizes too small, you may have received a mislabeled piece during production. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact us directly at customerservice@scentlok.com.

The BEST Warm Weather Hunting Pants

These are my favorite all-around hunting pants for early and mid season, or when the weather is warm. They are super comfortable, stretch in the right places and the pocket layout is on point. I wish it was warm so I could hunt in these all the time.

Look elsewhere for Durability

Bought these pants a few weeks ago, hummm mixed feeling on these. Fit and finish is good, a bit long but nothing a simple sewing couldnt fix. On to the bad, durability is poor, the materials are prone for stickers and burrs. Not for any kind of brushy environment since the material gets caught on burrs and will pull out easily. The adjustable wasteband is wack, cant even pull them to tighten because the tail end is soo short it gets jamb in the plastic adjuster. Worned them on 3-4 hunts and they look like they been to hell and back. All fuzzy and beat up, probably wouldnt recommend these unless your walking in open areas. If you hunt in the thick stuff, these wont last a season.

Excellent.

In all honesty. Initially I was skeptical and hesitant to purchase. Purchased these after hunting for a month in central Florida and being soaked with sweat and stink in cotton clothing. But glad I did. Fit is true, comfort is unexplainable. Feels like wearing pajamas in the tree. Highly recommend the set. Customer service has been exceptional.

Worth every penny

This gear is flat-out amazing. I have been using hand-me-down hunting equipment my whole life, and till now, I didn't know what real good hunting gear was like. I'm 6' 1", 200 lb, and my main gripe about all my old gear, was it was just too short on me, unless I got a baggy 2X. The option to get the Large-Tall options for both the Savannah jacket and pants was a game changer. The length is perfect for both, so I'm no longer worrying about yanking my jacket/pants down to avoid cold air or letting my scent out. This stuff is super comfortable and performs great in cold and warm so far. I've done 80°F+ days and had no issue overheating. I've done 50°F nights, with just a warm baselayer underneath, and never got cold. Most importantly, I've had a few deer downwind of me, that never seemed to catch my scent even the slightest bit. Long review, but this gear really exceeded my expectations, and made me a Scentlok user for life.

Sizing? Not everyone is over 6’2” tall

Sizing? Not sure how they size their clothes? A large is a 34 inseam on a 34 waist? Guess I don’t fit the 6’6” 165 lb characteristic they are selling to. When I double checked- I could not find a. Size guide anywhere on the site. Reached out to Customer Service was emailed a link buried in a blog- awesome thanks for that- now to send it back I have to put for shipping- no thanks moving on.

Q: I bought a set of Savanah a couple of years ago. How lo g does the scent concealment last?

1 Answer

A: As long as you're storing your ScentLok gear properly, and reactivating when needed, the carbon will adsorb odor almost indefinitely. Our fabric has carbon sandwiched between layers which is the main reason we say to only wash your gear when muddy or bloody. The more you wash, the more likely the carbon will begin to migrate within your suit, which can affect your gears' ability to adsorb odor. There's no hard and fast rule for the "shelf life" of our suits. We have customers that purchased some of our very first pieces and they're still tagging out, so it all really depends on how you care for your gear. If you feel like you're being winded more than you used to, it may be time to look into a new suit.
