Saweet and super comfortable with epic support for old dudes with bad wheels! Waterproof at 13000 and super for rocky Terran and treks. Out and back 8 mile -no Issues- can be slippery on water based rocks - slow down. Overall awesome kicks for walking, hiking and hitting mountains!

Topo Athletic wasn't on my radar, but I wanted to try the brand once I noticed several Backcountry Gearheads recommending Topos to customers wanting wide toe boxes. I'm glad I did. I generally prefer sturdier hiking boots, but the lightweight Trailventure emerged as my favorite day hiking boot when I wore them for a majority of the 500+ miles I hiked in the Backcountry Summer Adventure Challenge. Those Vibram outsoles are money, even on tougher trails, and the wide toe box has worked wonders for my messed up feet. My long-term toe and foot issues actually got better as I hiked in the Trailventure and switched to Topo trail runners for my work-from-home/everyday shoe splurge. As a Gearhead, my collection of hiking boots and shoes is pretty extensive. Hike your own hike. But the Topo Trailventure 2 is the boot I pick most often when I want to put comfort first on my day hikes.
