excellent boot

I've had these for a month and had the opportunity to use them in the rain and 2" of snow. For me they broke in right away. I wear 10.5D but always buy Vasque W because for me they run a bit narrow. I'm stepping out of a worn out pair of Salomons and into these ATs and have zero complaints. Not the prettiest boot, but who cares, they perform quite well.

Comfortable but Cheaply Made

I find these boots very comfortable, but like so many other reviews here, there are major issues with the laces and lace hooks. The laces are extremely tight, yet somehow come undone every few miles. I had a lace hook pop off at only 30-40 miles. Unless these issues get corrected, I would highly recommend not buying these boots.

They break you in

It took quite a while to like these boots. They have a much longer break in period than most modern light weight boots - which require zero break in. But, once they do break in they keep you dry even in deep icy mud. If you want an out of the box all day comfy shoe these aren't it. But if you want / need something a bit taller than the average light hiker these are well made and provide lots of protection. They could have a sharper heal to help with descents but are plenty gripy. I have a narrow heal, wide toe area with medium arch and they fit well.

Sturdy, reliable boot

I work for the USFS and am rough on footwear. The Breeze provides enough support and comfortability to use through the week. 300 miles so far, it's capable of a day of stone work, or cutting out trails. I've enjoyed the Breeze so far!

New model is big disappointment

I had older model of these boots and absolutely loved them. The new model: - thick, rigid and uncomfortable around ankles - looks less stylish - materials ( except the Vibram soles) feel cheap This is example of a corporate "innovation" that downgrades previous model and turns off loyal customers. I hope Vasque resurrects older model. See attached pictures

Terrible Boot

Why, Why, Why? After wearing out several pairs of Breeze II and Breeze III boots and being happy with their performance, I went to get a new pair and was very disappointed with your new boot. Why did you have to change? Bring back the Breeze III. You have lost me as a customer if the Breeze AT GTX is my choice.

Fantastic boots!

Happy with these top quality boots, been using them for a month or so with around 200 miles covered through Irish bogs. They haven't let me down, super comfy for wide feet!

I tried! I REALLY tried!

I got these boots within the last year or so! My major issue was the speed lace hooks! The laces kept popping out mid-hike or work! Eventually, I tried to tighten them myself and one of them broke! Ugh! I end up wearing and PREFERRING my Clarions!!!!!! First disappointing pair of Vasques I've had, so I'll hang in there for now! I would stay away from this model, though. :(

Dissapointing compared to the Breeze III GTX

After thousands of trail miles in two pairs of Breeze III GTX's I thought I had my go-to size 15 boot for the rest of my life.....but no. Why, oh why, would you ruin something that was so good. This is the ONLY boot you make in a 15 and it is not nearly as comfortable as the Breeze III GTX. Please, please bring the old design back.

Extremely Disappointing

It appears as though Vasque redesigned a perfectly good boot that I had worn through several previous pairs. The new design prevents lace expansion over the top, therefore restricting size adjustment. I tried wearing and even attempted an expansion via a shoe repair shop. Nothing worked and because I had worn them, they're being donated to Goodwill. I've since resorted to a different brand.
