This is a great location and the sites are nicely laid out. Shower and toilet were super clean. Kodie was always responsive to questions and happy to give recommendations for the area. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite campsites I’ve stayed at. Sites are spread out so it feels private, facilities are clean and well maintained. It is close to the road but you forget that quickly. The trees are beautiful and the whole campground is very serene.

Campsite #1 is beautiful and private. It's right next to hwy 20 so the traffic is loud during the day -- 7am or earlier. At night it's pretty quiet, so as long as you wear earplugs you're okay. Kodie was very responsive and the shower was a definitely plus.

Cute little spot

Lovely little campsite with hot shower and toilet. There is a little bit of road noise but the road isn’t very busy in the evening and the morning, so not a problem. Nice that you don’t have to check in on arrival. Needed a bit of help with the shower (my own problem not being able to work it out) and got very quick responses which was great!

Private campsites that were plenty far enough away from each other. Shower and toilet were very clean. I could hear road noise, but it didn't affect my sleep at all. Would definitely book again!

Tent camped here for 2 nights. As others mentioned, highway noise can be a little loud during the day. However, it slowed at night. We basically hiked all day in surrounding areas and came back to make dinner and sleep. This spot worked perfectly for that. The ground was very soft. The shower was a nice touch. We would stay here again!

Cozy Cute Safe and Private

Kodie’s place was a perfect spot between the coast and the North Cascades for a quick camp out so I could head east the next morning. Spot #2 was set back from the highway and I couldn’t see the neighbors. The traffic was obvious but it tapered off after 8 and it wasn’t a bother.

Our campsite was clean and well shaded to keep us cool! The pit toilet and shower were well maintained and we loved that there was a sign on each door so we didn’t need to knock and make others feel rushed. Our site was near the road, but we were generally out exploring during the day and traffic wasn’t bad at night so the road noise wasn’t an issue for us.

Site 2 was cute with a little off chute to put our tent. The stars were amazing! We didn’t get to use the shower, but it was a cool set up. Sites are near the road, so expect road noise, but wasn’t bad over night. Was a great jumping off point for North Cascades NP.

I enjoyed tent camping here! Easy to find, well marked sites. Very spacious sites. The sites were spaced far enough apart, I felt like I had privacy from other campers.

I loved camping here! Very close to North Cascades NP which was perfect! Very soft ground which made sleeping very cozy. Bathroom and shower are very clean and nice. I would stay here again!

Really pretty spot to stay at. Awesome hikes and sights near by. Would definitely stay again. The bathroom facilities were great for being outdoors. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

Great little spot. Nice to have an option to camp the in the area as state sites sell out quickly. Great spot to home base from for exploring the Northern Cascades. Shower, potable water and good priced fire wood is a nice perk.

The campground was convenient and clean! Site #3 was pretty big, and could definitely fit at least 2 tents. The pit toilet was also really clean. Only downside is there's some road noise, since you're pretty close to the road. But altogether pretty nice campsite!

This place was wonderful! Kodie was warm and engaging. I saw both him and his wife out to attend to the site on a daily basis - nothing left untouched. Bathrooms, showers, and bins. The place has an air of seclusion (you can’t fully see your neighbors), but is close to town and all the services you may want. The property is quiet, private and well maintained - and right down the road the the National Park; A+ in my book. Also, a big plus - firewood on-site that you can purchase. Great experience for both me and my daughters.

BEAUTIFUL spot, especially site 1. Surrounded by huge, old, mystical trees, all mossy and green. Felt very protected and private, regardless of the proximity to the road. Shower is great too and the Host is super nice!

Nice campsite with a hot shower and pit toilet close by. The road is a little loud during busy times but site 4 is set the furthest back away from the road and was quiet at night. Would stay here again!

Gateway to North Cascades NP!

Such a great little site for a quick overnight stay on our way into North Cascades National Park. 5 minutes from the Wilderness Information Center where we had to pick up our backcountry permits and the amenities were fantastic! A pit toilet that smelled lovely, potable water to fill up, trash cans and even a shower! They also had firewood for sale. The host came by as we were packing up and was super friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here if you need a landing zone on your way in or out of the area like we did!

Phenomenal experience, absolutely beautiful site - would definitely stay again. Toilets were clean, showers were warm. One more thing to note, which we had read beforehand, the site is very close to the main road so it does get a little loud especially at night. If you're okay with that, highly recommend this site.

Group of 4 with a dog - 10/10!!

Our group of 4 really loved this campsite and will be using it as our go to for future adventures in the North Cascades! The area was incredibly clean and quiet. The campsite has a picnic table and a fire pit, with two separate tent spots, one on each side of the common area. The layout of the campsite was so well thought out, and worked perfectly for a group. The outhouse and showers were super clean and well maintained. The water was hot for the shower (just needs a moment to heat up), and the outhouse was definitely one of the better smelling ones I've been in. Overall 10/10 stay, and would highly recommend over any park campsites because it was much smaller, quieter, and the sites are way more spacious!

Beautiful and easy to find campsite. Perfect way to start our day exploring North Cascades National park. It was nice to have water and a hot shower available. Close to road but road noise wasn’t a problem.

Great campsite. The outhouse and shower were both clean and nice. The picnic tables and fire pits at the site were both in great shape. Everything was clean. You can see the neighboring campsites, but it’s similar to any other campground in that regard.

Wow! where do i start??! super close to the national park, amazing bathrooms and shower! plus portable water and $5 wood bundles for sale! i genuinely can’t think of one thing i would change. the sites are nice and spacious, not super close to each other, and the owners are down to earth and easy going. i will 100% be back and will recommend this spot to my friends and family!

Right next to the 50mph highway

We booked this campsite for a weekend with the hope of spending time outside just enjoying a campfire and the quiet. We had read the reviews and looked at the pictures and location and everything seemed to fit what we were looking for. However, when we arrived at the site we realized that the campsites are about 100ft away from highway 20 which is a 50mph busy road. The noise and proximity to the highway was incredibly loud and it felt like camping on the side of the road. I had to yell over the road noise just to be heard at the campsite. The site was visually private from the other sites and the shared amenities were clean but ultimately the road noise was so bad that we left. It was a HUGE disappointment to have spent so much money and time and effort getting to that site only to realize that proximity to the highway was not even mentioned in the description. This might be a good place to camp if you just need to crash for a night on your way to the North Cascades or if you have a van to sleep in, but it is definitely not a place to just sit and enjoy nature.

I loved car camping here!!!! The bathrooms were the cleanest and nicest porta potties I’ve used ever, no smell! The town is about 5 minutes away and Diablo lake is 30 min away so it’s really the perfect spot!

Just outside North Cascades, great little campground with nice bathrooms (including shower), fire ring and tables. The owner came to say hi and told me about a little trail down to the lake near the place.
