Dead accurate even with open sites. Fun air rifle with plenty of power.

Pros
Accurate and fun. I grab this rifle more than most.

Cons
For the price, nothing.

Quickly became my go-to. Out of 13 variously powered and differing price point air rifles, this is the one I grab. It's simple and deadly.

Pros
Beautiful wood stock, nicely finished. Hard hitting and accurate right out of the box. The NP has a much tamer recoil than my traditional spring powered air rifles. It's less hold sensitive than my springers therefore less frustrating to consistently hit bullseyes from different positions (ie. Squirrel hunting) Great value at about $100

Cons
Sights are plastic

Great rifle well built for the price. Bought it for my grandson but he has a little trouble breaking the barrel to cock it. After a day's shooting at 9 yrs he had it down . A little kick for a pellet gun got it scoped in nice tight groups. I love this Lil rifle sorry grandson !

Pros
Built good , shoots like a Cadillac, I've had my fair share of cheep scopes in a bundle this is by far the best . All round solid an fun to shoot !

Cons
None after 200 rounds .

Are you kidding me? For around 100 bucks this rifle is outrageous! So accurate with the right ammo its boring. Mine loves Barracuda Hunter Extreme. Included scope is ok but I replaced with Winchester 4X. Trigger is ok, but is adjustable and I reduced second stage just a bit. Stock is nice wood and really amazing for the price. Yes it is heavy but that can help accuracy . Yes, it is hard to cock, but I believe it will improve with usage. I absolutely love this air rifle, and repeat, for the price it is outrageous!

Pros
Wood stock, build, scope rail, accuracy, adjustable trigger, low noise.

Cons
A bit heavy and somewhat hard to cock.

Pros
Great pellet gun. My son and I have been hitting quarters, nickels, and pennys, we didn't know what the distance was so we measured it with two tape measures. Our target was 46 feet away, with the coins were taped to it with scotch tape. This was with no scope, just the easlily adjustable sites. Next, I plan on getting a scope, my son wants to go turkey hunting with it. Also it's pretty powerful, we shot some empty metal gas cans, it usually went in the front side and out through the back too. (these are one gallon chainsaw gas cans from Lowe's)

Cons
None.

Save money on the rifle and get a scope, have never used the scopes that come with the combo so I can't tell you if it is good or not. UTG is just the brand I've found to give the best price/performance ratio. After broken in, scoped and fed well(I suggest Stoeger max penetration or max shock, just what I've found that it loves to eat) I'm hitting dime sized targets every single time. UTG 4x32 Wide angle at 35 yards after 5 shots you won't even know if you're on because it's hitting the same hole. Note: 1 grain difference in pellet weight will need to be adjusted for trajectory so practice with what you intend to compete or hunt with. These things are out of stock often so if there are 2 in stock and can afford an extra Benjamin, buy two. Get one for your buddy or relative and have them pay you back, after they shoot it they will appreciate it.

Pros
I research things before I buy them. The Vantage had so many good reviews and the price point was so low I had to get one. The hype was completely accurate like the rifle. There is absolutely no other rifle that compares to the price/performance ratio. So I'm just now getting around to this. I got mine for $99 and the now $109 price is still ridiculously low. Advice: Spend a little of that saved money on a good scope. But, first, get it out and put 150 rounds through it before touching the sights or mounting a scope, it needs broken in. You could fire it right into the ground, just feed it first. Mine is the .22 and I've put six different pellets through it. Crosman hollows are the most versatile of all pellets and shoot fine but mine likes a little heavier load. It absolutely loves the stoeger greater penetration 15.74gr. The heavier Max shocks are excellent as well, if you can find someone that sells them. UTG 4x32 wide is a marriage for life. You will need to use your set pin.

Cons
Zero

never waste your money on one of these

Pros
The worst gun I ever owned and I own several air rifles. This gun refuses to shoot straight. No matter what pellet I use the best I can get is about a 6 inch group at 30 yards. I gave this gun away and would never buy another crosman if any kind. The only reason I gave it one star is because there is no option for a zero

Cons
Remove the stock for firewood and sell the rest to the salvage yard for scrapmetal.

It says it has a wood stock but the picture looks like plastic. Which one is it?

asked William from USA

it is wood with a very smooth finish and light colored stain

Keith from USA

It is solid wood. Quite nice, for the price

Keith from USA

Is the rear sight removable

asked Rylan from USA

Yes, with a Phillips screwdriver

Donald from USA

Envia para o brasil?

asked CRISTIANE from Brazil

Could this gun take a raccoon ?

asked John from USA

A head-shot should be able to drop a raccoon, but personally, I would want something with a bit more power. Medium sized rabbits are probably the practical limit for this rifle.

Brent from USA

Are the stock sights plastic or metal ?

asked Karl from USA

Plastic.

Mark from USA

Can you mount a scope?

asked Josh

Yes, it's grooved for 11mm dovetail mounts

Donald from USA

yes

Liam from USA

How difficult is it cock?

asked John

It requires a fair bit of force, but anyone 16 or older that is moderately fit (capable of doing a push-up or two) should not have any problem.

Brent from USA

HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO THE BEN PROLOWER

asked JOHN

How do you load the 22cal. Pellets and how do you charge it so it's ready to shoot?

asked Harriet

You simply fold the barrel forward to cock it, then place a single pellet in the rear end of the barrel.

Kristen from USA

I want to mount my own scope of choice, will I be able to get the parts to do so?

asked Andy

Yes. Any rings that have a dovetail mount should fit this rifle. Just make sure that the rings are the same size as the tube of the scope you want.
