At first glance you might think the Blizzard Rustler 9 Ski is soft-spoken, but that’s not the case. This ski is just simplified, providing you with the tools you need for confidence on any terrain in any conditions. It starts with the Carbon Flipcore, which orients the laminates and shape of the core “upside down” from the way most skis do it. The result is a ski that’s pre-loaded, responding better to the complex shape of the Tip-Tail Rocker Profile and giving you a more lively ride while still getting the most out of that hybrid shape. Carbon Fiber adds snappy energy return, enhancing the D.R.T. to make the ski stronger and more powerful, all while working with the enhanced agility you get from the upturned tip and tail.

KEY FEATURES
  • Tip-Tail Rocker is turned up at either end, giving you superior float on soft snow helping the ski handle more nimbly despite it’s size
  • Dynamic Release Technology (D.R.T.) is a unique construction philosophy that makes the ski stronger and more stable, without compromising maneuverability
  • Carbon Flipcore is built “upside down”, with carbon fiber laminates building tension in to the ski core to give you lively response and superior energy return

A:
"A 180cm length would probably be the best and leaves you "a little growing room" for ability, nothing out of reason. A 172cm is most likely a little too short and will lack stability and speed. If you ski only a few times a year and are looking to be conservative on your knees as you age, go shorter. If you're a little younger and looking to progress, go bigger. "
