Overview
Apgar, Fish Creek, and St. Mary Campground reservations WILL NOT provide access to any vehicle reservation areas (including the west side of the Going-to-the-Sun Road, Many Glacier, and North Fork). To obtain a vehicle reservation, visit Glacier National Park Vehicle Reservations on Recreation.gov.__ Apgar campground is the largest campground in the park. It is situated in trees and provides tent and RV campers with shade and some privacy. Evening sunsets on Lake McDonald are only a short stroll, and you won't want to miss evening programs with a ranger at the Apgar Amphitheater. Many trails are located within a short drive of the campground. Five Group Sites are reservable in advance.

Reservation
Hard to get reservations because of popularity and people use reservations to get into the park and never stay in campground.
Great location, walk to Lake McDonald
What's better than camping in a National Park? Camping with friends/family in a National Park! Apgar Group camp is in a great location and allows people to camp together vs the dreaded task of trying to find multiple sites close together. This is a great rustic campground.

Breath taking
One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. But be prepared to reserve your spot months in advance.
Large group sites in beautiful area
Group sites: you must have at least 10 people to stay here. Booked for a family reunion, was a nice layout. Site is wooded and shady. Facilities modern but still basic. Tons to do nearby for all ages and interests, including ranger programs short walk away. Really memorable trip. Highly recommended.
The West Entrance to Glacier
Apgar Village is a little tourist town in the West end of Glacier National Park. The campground gets BUSY in the summer when the Going-to-the-Sun is open. There is running water, nearby food and shops at this campground.
