I was referred by a friend & I have not been disappointed. It was good out of the box. My groups have been tight & only required a single click adjustment when bore sighting.
I did upgrade to a full drop in rail, add a Magpul grip, rail covers, & a Sig Romeo 5 with a 3x. I also swapped to a Magpul stock with a QD for my Magpul sling.
It has not been picky with magazine choice & I use mostly ETS with it. I am already saving for my next one. Bang for Buck is no joke.

This weapon was strongly referred by a friend. I have not been disappointed after my first 400 rounds. My first groups were tight & it has operated flawlessly. I did upgrade to a full length drop in rail & I threw on a red dot with a 3x. I only had to make a couple clicks to zero it while bore sighting.
Any other upgrades are unnecessary as this is a capable weapon out of the box. I'm starting a kitty for my next buy.

We have an M&P15 and we wanted another AR that we can accessorize. We paid $499 for this gun so my expectations were a little low but, wow, I am pleasantly surprised by this gun. It's a great rifle for the price. Added a red dot and just ordered an upgraded BCG so I'm excited to see any difference that makes. My only recommendation would be to clean the heck out of it out of the box. The buffer spring had a lot of crusty, dried grease that was interfering with the firing when it blew out onto the BCG and into the lower. Since taking the spring out and removing all of the excess, it's been amazing. Don't sleep on this gun, and don't let the low cost fool you.

Love it. Affordable accurate, polymer handguard and stock makes the rifle pretty light kept all my parts milspec only added a few things but surprisingly one of my best shooting rifles. Great crisp 2 stage trigger, Mlok slots , and came with irons. PSA is really doing the lords work.

Cannot recommend this rifle enough. Spent 24 years in the Coast Guard retiring as a master armorer and have handled thousands of M16s and M4's. Out of the box accuracy was surprising. As with all bulk ammo, accuracy is mediocre. But some of the handloads are grouping 1" at a 100yrds. Need to find a range with more distance.

I’ve really put this rifle to the test, and I have yet to have a fail; so performance and dependability get a *thumbs up.* As a former US Marine it really takes me back to my service time. My only complaint is the MOE stock. It’s noisy and unstable. It’s way to nice of a rifle to have something like a 35$ stock take away from it.

I’ve been very impressed with my PA-15 thus far (and so has everyone at the range, ha!) for its durability, reliability, and with scooping it for $499, which seems to be a permanent “sale”, WOW! I’m tempted to get another and ‘say’ it’s for my husband! Even being chambered in the supposedly less accurate 5.56 vs. .223 Wylde or other chamberings out there, Hillary was right on target right out of the box. The barrel on this one is evidently PSA’s mid/premium nitrided CMV version, per a blog post I read on another site that compared all of their barrel types. It’s not chrome-lined, obviously at this cost, but it seems to stand up well to a bit of abuse & loves a good oiling to look like new again. The “Enhanced Polished SS Trigger” seems nice & snappy & lite; although, I admittedly don’t have a great deal of comparison experience in this category. All of the internals seem solid actually - I’ll be upgrading my charging handle soon, based on my preference of coatings. BCG is a nice sturdy full-auto type, with a thick coating - it’s not the PSA branded one that they sell by itself, but they're basic. My lower receiver did come with a glob of something on the PSA logo over the mag well, possibly glue? Solidified oil/grease? Either way, it came off with some CLP type solvent & a light scrubbing with a copper brush. PSA had many local FFLs on file, including the one I had in mind to use, so checkout/shipping was also easy. It also seemed fast, only delayed by my FFL forgetting to call upon arrival. The PMAGs I also caught on a $7.99 sale from PSA was here within the same week I think. East coast to east coast. If you’re looking around at various makers who offer their AR platforms in this price range and at this level of quality, maybe here and the ‘bear’ ;-) shhh, I’d definitely recommend PSA to be among the highly ranked on your list of possibles. P.S. I REALLY wanted the FDE furniture, but that rifle that out of stock when I ordered... came back within a week or so. If you run into that, just wait it out.

I've only had this AR-15 for 2 months and the best way to describe it is it's Flawless. Comes with great Magpul products which made cost less expensive so I wouldn't have to buy add on items. This is my first AR-15 all I've added was a Sig Sauer Romeo5 XDR red dot. I have put 1,500 rounds in nearly 2 two months and have had no problems. I would and have recommended Palmetto State Amory to others.

Great rifle and very fun to shoot. I was torn between this and a Smith and Wesson m&p sport 2 but inevitably chose the psa route. The Psa rifle has a better twist barrel and it came with magpul furniture which is nice. Sadly I didn’t get a front sight in the box but luckily I attached a 4x scope so that was a no biggy. Flat and accurate shooter.

Build quality is great, polymer parts like the handguard are made by Magpul and as a result, is compatible with M-Lok. Standard Magpul 30 round magazine works great, only issue after around 500 shots is that a cartridge got stuck in the barrel, and extractor failed to eject it. Took the gun apart and was able to get it out after removing the charging handle and bolt carrier group. Shot fine otherwise, still need to zero in my Red Dot before I can test consistent accuracy.

Ordered my PSA PA-15 August 31,23. I've been getting things slowly and building on it to my liking. Shot it for the first time Saturday 11-18-23. Alot of things contributed to the late date range day. But it finally happened. I must say I'm so impressed with this rifle I'm lost for words. I've shot some very high-end AR'S and they had the recoil tamed way down like you were shooting a 22lr. Well I haven't changed the buffer spring or the buffer weight yet but just from doing some of the recommendations from gun smith's I have little to no recoil. I did change out my butt stock just so I could have a QD mount for my sling and that mat contributed to some of the little to no recoil. Other than that this rifle is shoots dead accurate with no malfunctions. I'm very impressed with the build quality of this firearm. It was packaged nice also. Great price great gun I'm definitely a believer in PSA firearms. Thanks PSA for a greatly built rifle.

Got mine a while back. Slid the rear aperture onto the receiver and took one shot at 15 yards to see where I was. Never touched it again. Swung over to a silhouette at 125 yards and started whacking the steel. A little later I ordered the Vortex Strikefire II and carry case. Honestly couldn’t be more stoked on this gun for the price. $500 for a 7075 aluminum/ 4150v steel constructed AR, fully equipped top to bottom with MOE features just blows anything else in it’s price range out of the water. I replaced the MOE stock with a CTR (eliminating almost all stock rattle), threw on an Ergo Grip, and a Magpul VFG and it feels just as solid any $1000+ class rifle out there. There’s some slight play between the upper and lower (to be expected), easily remedied with a foam earplug under the rear takedown pin. Have almost 500 rounds through it so far without a single hiccup. Shipping was fast to my FFL, showed up in great condition.

First time ordering this AR. Took literally 3 days!! Gun shop called me in the same day , took my trip to the gun shop had to do a background check and was told the wait for it to come back clear was 7-15 days however it took 2 days to clear!!. The background check was $65 btw. Once my background check cleared they called me back the same day 2 days later I went to go pick it up. Everything was perfectly fine with the weapon no malfunction’s at all!! I love this weapon so much definitely highly recommended to anybody!!
