Alpha II is easy to love, no matter how you ride. It has a zero-maintenance belt drive, powerful hydraulic disc brakes, a SafeSpeed throttle system, and an integrated removable battery.
What to expect after placing your order
First of all, thank you for your order! Here's what to expect:
All ebikes ship out of our HQ in Portland, OR. Our workshop team inspects each bike before shipment, ensuring quality and safety.
1. You will receive your order confirmation email in your email
2. Our workshop processes your order in 1-3 business days, performing a 128-point inspection on your new ebike.
3. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as we ship it out to you.
4. Your Vvolt departs our Portland warehouse via UPS or FedEx.
5. Expect to receive your new ebike in about 7 days!
Shipping and Returns

- We also offer returns within 14 days of delivery with a flat return fee.

Ebike classification
Equipped with an easily removable throttle, Alpha II can be configured as Class I or 2 depending on whether or not the throttle is attached. We programmed the throttle to provide "safe-speed" 80% power when applied. That's still 430 watts!

A two-piece adjustable rear dropout makes for easy rear wheel removal. The 15x110 front thru-axle provides secure and easy front wheel attachment.

Is the motor strong enough to get me up hills?
We reckon so!
The Alpha II delivers 45nm of torque and 550 peak watts of power in the highest assist level. Imagine your strength bolstered by a professional bike racer!
In addition to providing peppy power, the Alpha II is seriously lightweight for an ebike, so we didn't need to spec it with a monster motor.
Does it have gears?
The Alpha II is equipped with a single mechanical gear, but five progressive levels of electric motor assist.
We chose the gear ratio to be easy enough to get started, but stiff enough to not spin the cranks too fast while cruising near 20 miles per hour. It's a balance, and we think we nailed it!
How long does the battery last?
Many miles! The 374wh battery will last up to 40 miles when used in low power mode, and about 22 miles when using high power! Want some more range? Consider the long-range edition!
