Excellent Upgrade
My wife has two Ruger Custom Shop 10/22 rifles that we have had issues with extracting. Being a competitor in action steel my first options where to change the extractor and spring. After using three different aftermarket extractors and the bolt still failing to extract when showing clear I randomly decided to throw this bolt in that I bought for a different rifle build. First, it doesn't fit with the factory charging handle. BUT of course as a competitor I had a spare laying around that it did fit with. I installed them both and took it out to the range with great results at a match. It successfully extracted every single time! So after that I ordered another one for the other Ruger Custom Shop 10/22 that has the same issue. I would love to have a discussion with Faxon if they where to ever sponsor athletes in action steel competition!

Faxon Rimfire Bolt Assembly for 10/22®, QPQ
project still in work, but product seems to function as required in the Faxon receiver ... but I'm still waiting on the barrel and a couple of magazine release pins to arrive. Looking forward to running a full function check on it.

The machining and finish are top notch. The firing pin design is a step up from the OEM design. It has performed without any issues in my build. This is clearly a premium part not even considering how good it looks. I am so pleased with it that I bought a second for my next build.

Version 2 working great
Had FP deformation issues with what Faxon initially sent me. CS swapped for an updated design and those are going strong thousands of rounds later.

Solid little plinker
Built a 10/22 for my wife using this, the Faxon receiver, and a Faxon barrel. Solid little plinker, groups well and compares decently to my KIDD build. I plan to use this bolt for my next build.
