Thick, warm and stays on the head well but not too tight. I can actually keep it on sleeping in a hammock. (Big bonus there…)

I purchased this pad to replace my old one. I use this primarily under my air mattress pad to prevent it from punctures. It also adds an additional barrier under my main pad to help keep me war. (I'm a cold sleeper.) You can roll it and place on the outside of your pack, or you can fold in and put it inside. You can also fold in multi layers and use it ass a sit pad instead of bringing another piece of gear. Just a reminder, its 1/8" thick. Take care of your gear.

I just completed a PCT section hike from Campo to San Jacinto turnoff with this wool blend hoodie. I never took it off for ten days. It was great sun protection and a base layer when more layers were required. It dries fast and was surprisingly odor resistant. The hood is a bit small but other than that almost a perfect piece of gear.

I've been out on two short trips with the Shadowlight 45 and am impressed with how comfortable it carried about a 20 pound pack. Nothing about it disappointed me, the deep side-pockets are my favorite, I do like the zipper to access the pack contents if necessary. I would prefer a 1 1/2 waist strap as opposed to the 1 inch strap. I don't believe that I'd want to carry over 30 pounds with this pack. The 45 has plenty of space and I've enjoyed it very much.

Fit and comfort are excellent. Snug without being restrictive. Didn't throw off my balance and stayed in place without perpetual adjustments. 10/10

I bought this to use as my daypack for my recent backpacking trip to The Needles in Canyonlands National Park. I was very pleased with its versatility. It packs down into its own side pocket for easy storage and holds everything needed for a day on the trail. This was my first use, in The Needles, and it didn't disappoint. Frankly, I love just about everything that I have bought from OV. My Ventus hoodie is my overall fav!

Unfortunately, I have not been able to test the warmth level since the weather has changed in my location, but what I can say is this jacket Quality seems very good super super lightweight and is true to the sizing measurements from their app. so far so good. Crazy as it sounds can’t wait until it gets cold again. Ha ha.

This is my new go to. It is light and warm but allows venting in the perfect areas.

My only note is fits narrow if you have larger shoulders, so that can throw length off but nothing that would stop me from buying it.

This jacket has become my favorite active insulation go to peace. It is warm yet very breathable and decently wind proof. The fate is true to size for an XL. I’m very pleased with the purchase. OV makes very good products.

This was my first purchase from Outdoor Vitals and so far I'm incredibly satisfied. I've been using this jacket almost daily since it arrived about 6 weeks ago to walk my two Huskies and even had it out on a couple of hikes now. I wanted to wait to write a review until I had worn it enough to give an honest opinion and now that the weather is finally turning warmer I'm guessing it will be used less and less in the coming months.

So far I love this jacket. It is very comfortable and surprisingly warm. I've worn it down into the low 30's with wind chills into the high 20s with just a long-sleeved shirt under it and I was not cold, not super warm either, but for those temps I was certainly surprised how comfortable I was based on what I was wearing. Upper 30s up to about 60 this thing is absolutely awesome for me. So far no issues at all with craftmanship.

I love the features like zippered arm pits, thumb holes, hood, and really like the unique blue color. I do have one minor complaint though. For me, when wearing with just a short-sleeved shirt underneath and the armpits fully zipped I do feel the zippers rub my underarms a bit. So far it hasn't caused any issues, I just feel it, but I've not worn it for more than maybe an hour and a half with a short-sleeved shirt so I can't say if I wore it all day would it cause a problem. I guess time will tell. I can also just unzip a bit to move the zipper so it doesn't rub. If I'm wearing a short-sleeved shirt, it's likely warm enough to do that to eliminate the problem.

That all said I love the jacket enough to still give it 5 stars right now though. Great product at a great value with great features. My wife has a similar puffy from another well-known brand and we both think mine is a much better overall product at a similar price point. Be sure to measure and trust the measurements. I've never worn a 2XL before, everything is normally an XL, but their measuring tool said 2XL and it was spot on. Same for the Tern Hoodies my wife and I recently received with the 100-mile challenge. We're both wearing a size up from normal, but they fit perfect. Thanks OV!

Very warm beanie. The interior fleece keeps it from getting itchy. My new goto for the colder days.
