I love this red dot. I have the holosun 507 comp as I wanted that 8 moa dot size but it has a dot with a horseshoe type around it and looks a little weird. The dot on the Defender XL is sharp, crisp and can be brighter if needed than the 507 comp. ...

Better than Holosun 507Comp
I prefer this to my 507comp for multiple reasons. The window is taller, the glass is just as clear, the dot is more crisp, the buttons are easier to use, the battery tray is far superior. Don’t hesitate to try this dot if you’re on the fence.

Vortex Defender XL
Probably the best big window dot I've used. Beats the SRO in price and durability. Comparable to the 507 comp but I still like this one more. Vortex really made a good dot with this one, can't go wrong buying it.
