Pros
Is well made, a lot of people complained about the stock, it almost looks like wood, the only thing that bothers me is that the swivels make a clacking noise when they hit the stock. overall would say it is very good! fires and shoots well.

If there was an upgrade available for owners with plastic furniture to wood, that would be amazing!

Pros
Of all of the Umarex replicas, the Thompson out performs the MP40 and M3 Grease gun in many ways. It is very accurate, CO2 lasts much longer, and is a pleasure to shoot.

Cons
The plastic furniture stock is hollow and I removed the sling mount on the stock as it got a bit annoying as it clicked and clacked when it hits the stock.

Pros
What a hoot!!! Well made.

Cons
It really needs a decent magazine loader.

This thompson is awesome. Breaks glass bottles out to 10 yards on a warm day. I love it. The sound in full auto makes everyone's eyes pop open in astonishment.

Pros
Looks, feels, operates like the real thing. Though the wood furniture is synthetic it looks pretty real.

Cons
Nothing to complain about here. Just a recommendation, it would be nice to off real wood opinions.

I actually loaded it with Air Venturi Dust Devil Frangible BBs, and took it rabbiting recently. Although it's not really recommended, or rated for small game, and varmint/pest hunting I still came back with two cotton tails. Granted I had to get in fairly close range, (10-15 ft), and needed a second finishing shot on both. Still head shots combined with the frangible bbs impact, penetration, and the nasty wounds they can leave fragmenting got the task done. I doubt I'll be the only one to try some varmint/pest, and small game hunting with it. Intend to try it on raccoons next, and squirrel season opens on May 1.

Pros
Well built all metal, heavy, smooth automatic fire, and accurate out of the box.

Cons
It seems as the the C02 cartridges don't last terribly long if it isn't fired shortly after loading them. Of course inwas shooting in moderately cool weather so that may have been a factor.

Remember this is a bb gun so dont expect perfection, bbs do jam once in while especially if its full auto like this, just like all other things quality assurance isnt always there, check your product and return asap before warranty ends. if you display it and then months later you decide to shoot it and malfunctions, tough luck repairs are expensive might as well buy a new one. so receive, test it, then display it like i have. have fun. wouldnt hesitate to purchase again from anywhere. cool replica !

Pros
feel, weight, and looks are awesome, if gone with a wood stock that would be awesome. shoots well, uses alot of Co2 but its worth it.

Cons
its just a bb gun so dont expect perfection

Get this!, I use excite BBs in it, no issues feeding. I filled the hollow plastic stock with window foam, the self-expanding type, it helps with the fake sound it makes when you hit it.This is by far the coolest one yet, and I have several, M4, MP40 many pistols ect. This reminds me of the carnival guns and trying to shoot out the star. Gun is heavy, recoil action, be sure to get extra mags and a helmet!I can see reenactors using this as a prop.

Pros
Almost everything, metal body, action, true to scale controls, weight, rate of fire, accuracy.

Cons
Plastic stock

I have owned this M1A1 for just over a year and have never had the first issue with it. Just read and follow the instructions and do not leave the CO2 cartridges in the mags if you are not going to use it for any length of time. Make sure you have oil on the seals.

Pros
Accurate right out of the box. Get about 3 mags out of 2 cartridges with short burst.

Cons
Not really cons but the reloading tab is very small . (Used wood clothes pin to hold tab back with no damage.) The hollow plastic stock. But that can be filled with all sorts of things to get rid of that hollow sound.

With Crosman CO2 cartridges, putting a dime in between the two cartridges with ensure piercing of both cartridges since they are a little shorter than others. Ultrair CO2 care kit is a good choice for gas as the kit contains 9 regular cartridges plus one containing lube and cleaners. Buy extra magazines; the ones available have a follower lockdown for easier loading than the one provided with the gun. Since the gun will empty a magazine in a heartbeat, extra ones will give you more shooting time between reloadings. Stick with steel BB’s for best results. I originally bought 2 guns, but bought another for a friend because I knew he would get a kick out of this fine piece of machinery!

Pros
Very realistic feel (I own an auto ordinance Thompson semi-auto). Looks like the real thing.

Cons
Definitely needs adjustable rear sight! It shoots a little low and left but that’s easy to adjust to in semi-auto and really doesn’t matter much in full auto.

Umarex Legends M1A1 BB Rifle magazine CO2 question. Does it actually operate on two CO2 cartridges or just one? Read the instructions and information on both this page and Umarex website as well as comments/reviews it's not clear. I just received my new M1A1 and inserted two CO2 carts. When it was empty and I remove the CO2 only one cartridge had been punctured. Can someone provide clarification please? Thanks, kw

asked Kenny from USA

I may be stating the obvious but make sure the cartridges are inserted the first one pointing toward the top of the magazine the second one pointing toward the bottom. also insert the first cartridge and put a penny or a washer between the cartridges
